Grace- Try to stay positive! This is a very frustrating process ;( Virtual hugs, thoughts and prayers heading your way!

Leah- Yay! Sounds like you have some good follies growing! Sorry about the UTI, those are evil! I get cranberry chews from Walgreens (finest natural brand) and eat like the whole box and that usually makes mine go away within a couple of hours. My repeat beta isn't until Friday, kinda wish it was tomorrow though.

Tarheel- I was pretty much the same way, scared to test! Although after they took my blood I really just wanted to know the results and pestered the clinic until they told me! I was not going to wait until the end of their day.

Aimee- How are you surviving the 2ww?

This board has been very busy this afternoon, pretty sure I didn't remember everything I read. Sorry guys, but it sounds like everyone is moving right along. Just got home from work and I'm feeling like I'm ready for bed...and have been most of the day. I'm puppy sitting and between my dog and the other two I currently have I was up almost an hour and a half early this morning. I'm not functioning very well at this point today.

Hope everyone has had a good day and have a wonderful night!

That is really cute putting eggs in her little blue box. I don't have the budget for a gift from Tiffany but I would like to give her a little something. She has a one year old little boy too so she understands the gift she is giving besides just getting the money. You think April 6 is to far past Easter to do the Egg thing? Any other ideas?

How you feeling Aimee?

Kim - we are glad you found us. You've been helpful to us too.

Leah - Did you find out if it is infact an UTI? My DH is just now getting over his that he has had for 2 months. I usually get rid of mine within 2 or 3 days of meds. I wonder if those chews would help that Kim referred to?

Morning ladies, I’ve been working the past couple of days so wasn’t able to respond. I’ll come back a little later and do personals.

I took a HPT this morning and it was negative, I’m 7dp3dt, so I googled a little and was getting encouraged because I saw a pole where most ladies got they positive at 8dp3dt, but then I read the comments and most of them were saying they got faint positives before, but didn’t get a definite positive until 8dpt so they marked the 8dpt, anyway, I don’t even have a glimmer of a line, so I’m starting to feel defeated, I’m trying to stay positive but it’s hard!

Aimee, I have a friend that didn't get a bfp until the evening of 8dp5dt, hang in there...her little girl is 4!

AFM, negativo on UTI, so 99% sure it's a kidney stone. Chugging water and peeing like a racehorse. Sheesh

Aimee try to stay positive! I've read a couple of things that say frozen embies take a little longer to implant. Don't lose hope just yet!

Aimee - I hope that test wasn't even close to being correct. Please just wait till your beta. I hate to see you disappointed for no reason. Remember IVF babies take a little longer to snuggle in too so your HCG could be super low so early rather then a traditional pregnancy. I am saying my prayers now for you and your embies.

That is great Tarheel. Congrats - Now those little guys just need to stay put.

Leah - will this postpone your cycle? I don't' want to be debbie downer but your body will be trying to fight that stone and you don't' want it to reject your embie. What has your RE said?

Tarheel! YIPPEE OMG that is a FANTASTICAL BETA!!! If you had transferred two I'd think it was twins! Mine was 73 at 10dp3dt and 163 at 12dp3dt, so that is a stellar!!! I wish betabase.org was up and running so you could compare, but it's not been working the last couple weeks!!! Go pee on a stick and show us that beautiful LINE!!!!

AFM, the culture showed I have no infection, so there is really nothing I can do except drink a lot of water and try to pass the stone. I've done it before without medical intervention. All they would do is want to xray me to see how big the stone is and where it is, and I'm not going to have them xray me at this point in my cycle. I'm not in the same pain as I was yesterday, it's more in my kidney today (or heck, it could be my growing ovaries) so I'm just drinking a ton and hoping it passes. I'll mention it to the nurse tomorrow.

Tarheel, Congrats!!! SO happy for you

Leah, I'm so bummed for you. I had kidney stones during both of my pregnancies and they were awful. Somewhere along the way I heard that lemon juice helped break up kidney stones, so I chugged it like crazy and it seemed to help. I hope that thing (or those things) get out of there fast and leave you alone! They can also do an ultrasound on your kidneys to check the size/location if needed, and check the flow out of the kidney to make sure it isn't restricted. Good luck!

Hopefully they can do retrieval for sure and worst case you have to do FET. You don't want to waste the stim meds but you don't want to transfer either if you are having stone issues. My first DE that backed out had 2 de cycles. The first BFP with twins. The second was a BFN because the next day after transfer the lady was hit with kidney stones and they think that is why the BFN. She had snowbabies so luckily could try again. I don't want to see that happen to you right after transfer. Gosh I hate being debbie downer but we want BFP I wonder if an ultra sound would show where your stone is?

Thanks ladies, I really am trying to stay positive, but I’ve been in a funky mood all day, so DH asked me not to test again and just wait for the beta on Monday, I’m going to try to hold off until then.

Tarheel – awesome numbers…congratulations!

Leah – Ugh….not that it’s ever a good time to get a kidney stone, but this is probably worse timing ever, hoping it passes fast and doesn’t interfere with anything! Keep drinking and when you think you’ve had enough drink some more!

I actually had a bunch of lemons in the house, so I've been drinking 1/2 a lemon in a glass of water with some gatorade for flavor and salt, since I'm drinking so much. You are right, the citric acid in lemon is supposed to help break down the stone. I will talk to the RE tomorrow and see what they suggest.

You're not a debbie downer, your Realistic Rita! I could see if a sudden attack landed me with a totally plugged kidney, which happened my first time, it is SO painful and you have to go to the ER. Seriously, I thought I was dying! and I had to be put on morphine, but so far, drinking water has evaded that. I could see how that would DEFINITELY impact transfer and throw your body into distress. Maybe hehe I can convince the nurse to do an U/S of my kidneys tomorrow during my follie check hahaaa

Tarheel- YAY!!! Congrats!!! That's an awesome beta!

Leah- Glad you're feeling a little better, hope you continue to improve from here!

Aimee- I'm with your DH, POASing will make you crazy!

Gretchen- How are you doing? Is Lupron still giving you nasty headaches? I hope its going better now!

Grace- Did you get everything straightened out with your clinic? I hope you are in better spirits

Thinking of you all and you are in my prayers Hope you all have a good night!

AFM- I have my second beta tomorrow. I'm a little nervous but mostly just excited. If its all good news, I'll probably tell mine and DH's parents this weekend and wait a few more weeks to tell anyone else
