Hello everyone! Just wanted to stop by and see how everyone's doing. Sounds like everyone is moving right along.

Cassanda- your embryo is beautiful. If I can figure out how I'll post the picture of mine I got on Monday

Jenlynn- sounds like it was a little early for the digital test, I had no clue on the difference in the tests either.

Leah- thanks for the website and glad to hear your appointment went well. It's always a pain to hear about the extra costs, I wish they would just tell us what it's actually going to cost up front so it's a little easier to budget for. I ended up getting my menopur from Freedom Fertility Pharmacy and I believe it was something like $70 per vial, I didn't use bravelle.

Gretchen and Jennyt- Yay for starting!!!

Grace- Glad the shots are treating you well!

Clover- I actually used all of my meds. I think I will have some PIO left over but that's it.

Brooke- I didn't have any symptoms for almost the first full week of Menopur and they collected 25 eggs.

I hope you are all having a wonderful day!

The vials are 75IU, so 150IU Menopur now. I think that all sounds great! Yes, just remember, quality, not quantity! I retrieved 4 eggs last time, 3 fertilized, 2 transferred and I had 1 beautiful little girl. I have a friend that retrieved 28 eggs, only one fertilized and he is now 3 1/2! Anything is possible I think you are doing great. Can't wait to follow you on this journey!

Leah- thanks for your support and the info on hpt!!! I had no idea, and I feel SO much more hopeful! Also, YAY for getting your trial transfer done and getting your protocol!! I used Ganirelix as well and had no issues with it at all.

Welcome, Brooke!! Excited for you to join us!

I'm counting down- five more days until beta. Planning to go to the store tonight to get different hpts so I can test again in the morning, which will be 7dp5dt... No symptoms so far during the 2ww except for feeling quite tired and what I think is mild cramping from time to time.

Fingers and toes crossed for everyone!!!

Jenlynn, Good luck tomorrow!

I got some good news from my RE a couple of hours today, they were able to freeze 4 embryos! They said they caught up and divided well, so we have some hope if this cycle doesn't work!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Leah... I got all my meds from a specialty pharmacy called Freedom Fertility Pharmacy. My meds were covered by insurance, but the out of pocket cost would have been about $4,000. I ended up paying $400 for copays. I had bravelle, Menopur, endometrin, HCG, Lupron trigger, ganirelix, estrace, plus all the syringes and needles.

Kim, you have to upload your photo to photobucket (or something similar) and get the IMG code. Copy that link and then paste it in the space when you click on the insert image button in this text box. Hope this helps!

I got mine from Freedom Fertility Pharmacy too. They were wonderful to work with, ran my insurance info and called me to make sure it was okay to ship with the credit card I gave them. My insurance picked up everything but the progesterone injections. I'm also on Lupron, Gonal-F, Menopur and using Novarel for my trigger. I think I would up paying about $250 with all of my co-pays, which was such a blessing!

Thanks girls, u are soooo lucky, my ins pays nothing! My clinic has a program for menopur and bravelle ... which is a few $ cheaper than your pharmacies 3-4$ less each vial...and they will buy back any unused meds, so I think I will just go w them.

JenLynn – I’m so for the BFN, hopefully it’s just too early

Jenny – It’s pretty common to spot on BCP, glad you get to stop them soon

Clover – my first IVF cycle I used all my Follistim, but had lots of Ganirelix left over, plus all the progesterone that I was suppose to use after transfer, second IVF I have a little of everything leftover. I think because our bodies response differently every cycle it’s almost impossible to predict exact amount of meds.

Leah – how exciting….are starting very soon!! Never heard of the BCP being taken like your protocol, but I’m sure your RE has a reason for it. I ordered through Freedom Pharmacy and paid $50.11 per 75IU Bravelle and $69.99 per 75IU Menopur. That's good you found a pharmacy that buys back meds, I'd go with them just for that,.

Brooke – hi and welcome! Sounds like your cycle is going well.

Kim – congratulations on the snow babies!!

AFM – nothing new or exciting, I’m up to 3 patches. I’m in the middle of doing my taxes and want to remind you girls, keep every receipt and keep track of every appointment so you can hopefully claim everything on your taxes! I wasn’t going to worry about medical millage but after figuring out how many appointments I went to last year, the 23 cents per millage added up and really made a difference…so keep track!

So - spotting is pretty common I know - but, it just went from brown, to like a dark red. Should i be concerned? They told me spotting is normal - but when is it considered more than spotting? I may have asked this before - but I don't remember what was said? UGH! I just feel like I'm doomed to not get to FET.

Jenny - I googled BCP and burning and there is a lot of information that comes up! You may want to ask your doctor about it, but it definitely seems to be a common thing. And a lot of people mention the specifics of breakthrough bleeding. So you may feel a little less worried reading these things. :-) Good luck!

Thank you everyone for answering the question about whether or not I'll use all the meds! I guess it just depends on how my body handles everything, but obviously the less I'll need the better! My meds are suppose to be delievered on Monday, and I still don't know how much everything is going to be! I'm going to give the pharmacy a call tomorrow and find out.

Like J and K said - it would be nice to know so I can budget everything a little bit better!

JenLynn - I hope you get a better response with today's test!!! :-)

If you were on bcps for more than a few weeks, its really common. I'd probably mention it to your RE, but probably nothing to worry about, as you would get your period now anyways with stopping the pill. Not sure re burning, but looks like clover found lots of info about that. Not sure if the lupron would do anything.

Aimee- Thanks for the reminder! I need to do a better job of keeping track of mileage! I do a lot of driving to get to my clinic.

Jennyt- Good Luck, I'm sure it will work out. Keep your head, your FET will come!

Clover- I swear its like they think we're going to back out if we know the real cost. Pretty sure if I'm willing to go to the fertility clinic, I'm going to do what I have to to come up with the funds. A lot easier to come up with money if you know how much its going to be from the start. My insurance is really good on everything except infertility, it basically covers nothing for ART. They'll pay for rehab but not fertility, hmmm. Ok, I'll stop my rant.

Jenlynn, hope you get your BFP today!

I'm having a blah day, I'm ready for a nap. I think the PIO is getting to my face cause its breaking out pretty bad. I go in for BW tomorrow morning to check my progesterone levels, luckily I don't have to go to AZ I can do that here in NM I had weird dreams last night, I woke up a few times but not sure if it was the dreams or I was just paranoid because I had to wake up early. The 2WW is starting to get me a little, although haven't really noticed any symptoms other than feeling tired.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic day!
