So as I near my hopefully first ever transfer next week, I’m trying to think of things I’ve heard that helps with implantation.

So far I’ve heard about eating the pineapple core, but have to look into exactly what days I’m suppose to eat it….anyone remember?

Also, I heard there are studies that lots of laughter after transfer promotes implantation. So since the seasons started I’ve DVR’d The Middle and Modern Family, two of my favorite funny shows, and saved them to watch and plan to hit the Red Box up for some more of my favorite comedies.

Anyone what to share things they’ve heard helps for implantation?

I did pineapple core (with regular pineapple) for at least the first five days after transfer (and probably longer than that.) I heard that you don't want to eat too much of it, so I just bought one of the pre-cut ones (round with the core still in) and divided it into fifths and ate one "slice" each day.

I also drank a cup of grape juice each day (all natural.)

And, I did fertility acupuncture, which I highly recommend.

I tried to laugh a lot as well and not get too hung up on how much I was moving, lifting etc. I went to a Resolve support group the same day I did the transfer!

Just try to keep a positive attitude! Good luck!

I think any fresh pineapple will help, core, slices etc. My acupuncturist says to keep your feet warm. warm feet equals warm uterus! I got some hot booties from walmart! lol. rest, relax and drink a ton of water! so excited for you!!!

My RE put me on strict bedrest for the first 24 hours after the transfer...only get up to pee. I took it easy the two following days as well.

Another TTCMAer told me about something in sunflower seeds that was supposed to help implantation, so I snacked on sunflower seeds every day.

Hydrate!!

Thanks ladies!!!

I forgot about the warm feet, my acupuncturist told me about that, also to avoid very cold drinks, so I'll add those on the to do list.

Making my grocery list now and adding the stuff listed above.

I'm so excited myself, praying they survive the thaw, I think that's what I'm most stressed about.

Aimee - I am praying the survive the thaw too ! I will be trying all the above as well. My RE told me just rest the day of transfer...no other bedrest needed. I think I will anyways.
