Sarah...I think my EDD would be March 19th. I'm one day ahead of you on transfer for a 5dt. That would be soooo exciting! I'm praying for all of us! Someone wrote on here that I'd have a firecracker baby that turns into a pot of gold. I thought that was cute!

Hi Ladies,

I'm back...after taking some time off. So great to see everyone's moving along and lots of BFPs!!! Congrats to Cassandra, Gretchen & Kim—and anyone else I missed!!

I’ve been following along with everyone silently cheering you on, as I get ready for my 2nd cycle. This time we’ll do an ER and freeze all the embryos, then wait for my hormones to calm down and do a transfer in August/Sept.

Leah, good to see you again. Sorry you’re back with us, but it’s nice to see a friendly supportive face! I’m cheering for you sweetie. This time it’s 9 months of preggos for you!!

AFM – I’m on BCPs for a few more days, then AF and baseline testing. I should have ER around 7/11. Just before my 44th bday, yikes!

Also, here’s a link to even more recent IVF protocols…very interesting for those who can wait for it to be on the market.

Jennifer-Keep us updated on the growth of your 16 embies!!!

SoapySeltzer- Have you started stims yet? Not sure when your embryo banking cycle begins.

diegosgal & MandyEllen- How are your feeling on your protocol? I've never been through a FET so not really sure how they get your body ready.

Leah- You are in my prayers as you prepare to begin again.

Sarah S- Keep us updated as you prepare for this new cycle.

AFM- I had 2 cysts aspirated yesterday (like an ER...except I was AWAKE) Very painful, but they took out 4 vials of fluid. RE thinks that should take care of those pesky little buggers. He said they may even decide to behave and give us an egg this go round! Today I start my stims. Follistim (225) in the morning and Menopur (225) in the evening.

Ouch that sounds painful. I just had some burst last month. Hate cysts.

Tina: I'm glad you had that taken care of so you can move on. I'm sorry it was painful. Ugh! The things we go through!!! Good luck with the injections. I'm hoping you get some nice, mature eggs!

Jennifer: Any word if you're doing a 3 day or 5 day transfer yet?!?!

AFM: The protocol for a frozen transfer is a lot easier than my OE IVF cycles. I'm not nearly as bloated or tired. There aren't as many early morning monitoring appointments. The EMM appointments are about 5 days apart each. I had one this morning and my lining was 10 type 1. I think that's really good. I'll get a call later with instructions...probably telling me to take 2 Estrace pills 3x per day now and continue the Lupron. One week from today, I'll be awaiting the fert report! Ahhhh!

Congrats Jennifer on lots of great fertilized eggs! Hoping you are able to do a 5-day transfer! Keeping my fingers crossed this is your cycle!

Sarah - I transferred one with the fresh IVF cycle (BFN) and transferred two with the FET (pregnant with twins).

Mandy - sending lots of sticky dust your way! I can't wait until you get to do your transfer!

Leah - Keeping my fingers crossed for you too! Has your beta level come back down yet?

Tina - Sorry about the cysts. They can be really painful. Glad you were able to take care of them though. It's always best to have them removed or aspirated before doing an IVF/FET cycle. Good luck with stimming!

Tamara - July 11 will be here before you know it! Keeping my fingers crossed they retrieve lots of eggs!

Sorry if I missed anyone else! It's hard to go back over multiple pages! good luck to everyone and I will be cheering you all on!

I hope everyone is doing great. We have a very busy day planned, and I have to keep this short this morning, but I will follow up with everyone tonight.

My transfer is Sunday at 8:15. I normally would complain about the time, but I'm so excited and hate this wait....I would of happily been there at 6:00,lol. The nurse didn't go into a lot of detail, but she mentioned that I have four 8 cells, four 7 cells, and I lost count after that. All 16 are still growing and she said they look terrific.

Mandy...since they are in great shape, I think we will transfer two. I have several friends that have recently miscarried at 10 and 14 weeks, and it really worries me, and I think maybe we should transfer 3. However, what if I end up with triplets, and that really scares me. I have two boys 10 and 14(the 10 year old is in select soccer and we travel a lot), and I feel mentally and physically drained most of the time. Plus, I know they won't be much help with a baby.

Thanks everyone and please keep us in your prayers.

Leah..it sounds like your body is almost recovered and once the clinic reopens, you should be ready to go too.

Mandy...July 1st will be here in no time (but I know the wait is horrible). I hope everything goes wonderful for you.

Tina..I noticed you started injections. I hope they produce you lots of beautiful eggs.

Tamara and Sarah...Hello and sorry for your loss, but I look forward to following your success this time around.

Cassandra, Kim, and Gretchen..I hope your pregnancies are going smooth and uneventful. I can't wait to see pictures.

I'm sorry if I missed anyone. I've been so busy lately and have read everyone's posts, but it's hard to remember everything once you start typing, lol.

We transferred two embryos this morning. I was really surprised with how quick and painless it was. I was expecting a lot worse, lol.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Yay Jennifer on your transfer. I cried through mine...it was the most pregnant I've ever been!! Very bittersweet.

I had my first U/S since started stims and I have at least 16 follicles that they measured and all of them are very close in size so hopefully they will all continue to grow at the same rate!! Yay! During our last cycle my follies were all over the place in size. The RE thought they were great numbers.

Tina...how sweet. If I didn't have my husband with me, I probably would have cried too. His way of dealing with a stressful situation is humor, and he had me laughing most of the time.

You're follicles sound great. 16 is a very good number. Keep us posted.

Congrats Jennifer on your transfer!!! Tell those little beans to snuggle in for us! Fingers crossed for you.

Way to go Tina...great numbers on the follies.

Good luck Mandy--keep us posted on how things go!! Exciting!!

AFM - I had my baseline sono, so we're all clear for stimming starting this Friday. An unofficial follie count was about 18-20 they could see. WooHoo! I am hoping that doing the collection and waiting to do FET will be easier on the body and better for those little sticky beans!

Cheers,
Tamara

Thanks...Tamara. I'm really hoping they stick too. I'm only 1dpt, and the wait is already killing me,lol. We do have 7 frozen embryos, but I'm really hoping this is it.

Congrats on the follicles...sounds like a great number.

Jennifer: Congrats on the transfer! You are PUPO! I'm praying that your two little ones are snuggling in there! What day is your beta?

Tamara: Sounds like you're heading to a great number for ER! That's so awesome!

Tina: Your follicles sound good too! When do you expect an ER?

AFM: Fertilization happens tomorrow. My lining looked great at the morning monitoring today. It was an 11 type 1 and in the shape of lips, so my RE was really pleased. I start my PIO injections tonight. I guess other than DH doing his THANG tomorrow...at this point, I'm just waiting for Thursday and the fertilization report! Send me baby dust!!! I go back on Friday for bw and u/s. I'm still praying for a 5-day transfer on Monday. RE told me today that she may only transfer 1 embryo, which makes me nervous!

Thanks everyone. I didn't know what PUPO means and had to look it up. I never thought of that way and it brought a tear to my eye...maybe it's the hormones, lol. My beta is July 5th...which seems like forever.

Mandy..I would be worried too, but I have done a lot of reading and it seems that the success rates in a single or double transfer in a 5 day blast are almost the same. However, in saying that....I was almost willing to transfer 3 to have a higher chance at success. I would talk to your doctor about it.

Leah..I'm new to the board and know that several of you have suffered a loss or had an IVF cycle that ended with a BFN. I hope Cassandra's BFP was only the beginning, and all of us follow with BFP too. I'm really praying hard for all of us.
