Tina: Good luck with your ER today! We're thinking of you!

Sarah: I'm hoping that the thaw goes okay & that your transfer leads to a BFP on the 17th!

Brooke: Good luck! I think that your eggs can mature from the time of trigger to retrieval!!!

AFM: My beta is tomorrow. I took another line test today & there was a good line. It looked almost like yesterday's line. I've taken 3 line tests all were very positive and 3 digitals that say "Pregnant" so far! I have two more digitals at home, so I'll probably take one tonight and one tomorrow morning before I go in for the beta!!! I'm praying for good numbers.

Oh wow! You guys all had lots of eggs retrieved! That is awesome! I am way behind on counts, I hope that is ok. I have 15 follicles, with 10 in the running, and my ovaries hurt, so I can only imagine what more then that feels like! Ouch is right!

Good luck with everything to everyone! Baby dust is in the air! =)

They just came in to say both embies thawed ok and are compacted still. They may expand before the transfer or not till inside me. But we're transferring two live embryos in one hour.

Good luck Sarah!!! Hope those cute little beans are nice and sticky...snuggle in little ones!

We got 20 follicles today...I'm pretty sore, but resting. Hoping for an abundant fert report.

Tina - Hope you had lots too!

Brooke - You still have great numbers compared to others I've seen. And it only takes one good egg!!

.I keep POAS in case my eyes are deceiving me. These are my fmu sticks from the past three mornings. Today's doesn't look darker than yesterday's. I just took a digi when I got home from work and it says "Pregnant" still!!!

Tam: 20 is a lot. Can't wait to hear your fert report tomorrow.

OK, so this is totally off topic here, but I need to rant for a second. I went to the pharmacy and picked up my Endometrin. I received 42 suppositories; I was using 3 a day, and I'm down to 2 a day now that I'm pregnant. Our copay was $35.00, and I was complaining to my husband about the large copay. He looked at the retail price and it was $467.99. I'm amazed and outraged!!! How can they get by with such a ridiculously high price? I feel so bad for the people who have no insurance coverage and are out of pocket. All insurance companies should be required to cover infertility.

Hope everyone is doing great.

I know! My meds were around 4k all together (all out of pocket). My ins only covered PIO and my copay was $35.00 each vial and that only lasts 10 days!

Mandy, I think today's looks darker, and by my calculations of my last betas, I'm guessing that when they are as dark as the control line, beta is around 100, at least that was true for me....eeek so excited for you! Can't wait to hear your beta

Mandy, I think the one on June 9th looks darker then then the other two. =)

Jennifer, my insurance didn't cover Endometrin, I paid around $500 for mine. I asked for another med comparable to that, so doc. recommended one but that was not any cheaper. =( So I went with the Endometrin. A few of my meds were covered under my insurance but I still paid around $5K for everything. I agree, I really wish insurance covered fertility meds too.

Hey ladies, just relaxing the day away. Bored out of my mind. What is it about someone saying you can't do something, makes you have instant cabin fever.

Mandy thats darker to me, but also remember how much you drank and how much dye in the test can affect it.

Tamara thats awesome news. Can't wait to hear your fert report.

Jennifer it kills me how expensive medication is, even when its not fertility meds. My insurance doesn't cover $0.01 of my IVF stuff

Leah when do you go in???

Hi all,
I'm reposting this here, happy to join you in the July IVF

"This is my story- 25yo, DH 30, married 5 years. Both finished graduate school, have stable jobs, bought a home and ready to start a family!
TTC naturally with OPK, charting, temps, etc for 18 months. (longest months ever! I hated all the waiting and wondering.)
After testing on both of us that lasted several months, found that DH had bad numbers is all areas (count, mobility, morph) due to double vericoceles! His numbers were DECREASING with each sample. Urologist said that with his numbers IUI was a waste of time. So it was vericocele surgery or IVF! This diagnosis was so hard on my sweet DH, and still is.
As for me, mild polycystic but no other issues.
After a long couple months of discussing and deciding, we are jumping into our first IVF cycle! (with DH to have the surgery later in the fall).

We are both so excited. Just retrieved 18 eggs today (tues)! Still feeling bloated and a little crampy but otherwise great. Now just praying and hoping for growing embryos at the lab! Waiting for news tomorrow. And then implant 2 on Fri (day 3) or Sun (day 5).

Glad to have found a great forum with friendly ladies. DH is amazing through all of this, and our families are so loving, but just don't understand how hard it is! I don't have very many friends/family members who have gone through infertility so I sometimes feel all alone in the world of easy/quick/naturally conceivers with no support group!

Happy to be here. And happy thoughts to all of you!

-Mary"

UPDATE: Clinic just called, 16 out of 18 fertilized!! Over the moon.

Good luck on bedrest Sarah. I love relaxing, but yes, when you are TOLD to, it somehow changes things, doesn't it! Luckily I crochet...I'm working on some infinity scarves...so that will keep me busy. I wish you lived close, I have like 200 magazines I've never gotten to read! SO I guess I'll save them up for my bedrest too - Are you on BR for 1 or 2 days?

Mandy, your beta is awesome (can you hear me singing that?????) I'm so happy for you!

Hi Tina . So sorry for your lost , we all understand your pain , even though some of us are new to the IVF , like me. I know God will give you a baby eventually and all this pain will be forgotten.

My name is Dani (31 years old) and I'm also just starting my first ICSI cycle and I'm beyond scared but excited . All my blood tests and ultrasounds and everything are perfect , the problem is that my boyfriend ( 42 years old has oligospermia , 3milsperm/mil and after 2 years of TTC we decided to move forward and thank God my medical insurance is covering 3 cycles so we are hoping for the best .
Ladies I need your support same as Tina and I think during this process we have each others back and that makes everything easier.
We will probably start the cycle at the end of July or definitely August. I'm still new with all the IVF and ICSI abbreviation so please don't laugh
Tina you are great and we will both have round , big bellies soon...you'll see...that's what an angel just told me Lots of hugs and kisses ladies , we are superwomen

Mary welcome and congrats, thats one of the biggest steps, ICSI is an amazing thing. Are you doing a 3 or 5 day transfer? And how many embryos do you want to put in?

Leah, it could be worse thats for sure.

For me the day is coming along ok. Leiland is a CRANK today but sitting with me, while I am sitting here "shopping" and putting WAY too much in my amazon shopping cart. I too crochet, and in 5 days I have done 15 skeins to make dh a blanket.

DaniS31, Hello and welcome. I look forward to following your IVF journey too. I just finished my 1st IVF cycle, and these women have been a great help and support. I'm so thankful I found this group.
