Just doing a little update on me for those who care to know. I am now 17 weeks 4 days pregnant!!!! I'm posting here cause I never have really done a lot on the main TTCMA board but wanted to update So far I've had my ups and downs but I'll take them as long as I get my baby in the end Let's start with something fun... I went to the perinatologist yesterday and found out I'm having a baby GIRL!!! DH is still getting used to that

Now for why I had to go to the perinatologist in the first place. So everything from early on had seemed to settle down and everything was starting to feel a little more normal, then about a week before the NT scan I started getting sick with a cold/flu. I ended up in bed for about a week and half and got dehydrated because I couldn't keep much down. I went to my NT scan and the sonographer said everything looked great with baby. The next day my OB calls and tells me that they were worried about some stuff with the NT scan; the baby was measuring a week behind and my amniotic fluid was really low. So she recommended the perinatologist and we made an appiointment which was 3 weeks ago. By this time I was feeling quite a bit better and keeping fluids down. The baby was measuring fine then and the amniotic fluid was almost back to normal (14.5 weeks), but they wanted to do a more in-depth scan in 3 weeks which was yesterday. So now to back up a couple days, everything has started going pretty good again, but on Sunday morning around 5:30 I woke up to go to the bathroom and found quite a lot of blood so off to the ER I went by myself (DH had to work soon). I was in the ER for about 6 hours, they did bloodwork, a straight cath to get urine without blood in it, a pelvic exam, and finally an ultrasound. Everything turned out to be ok and baby was measuring right where she should. I'm still having some bleeding and the perinatologist told me to expect a little more but just to watch for clear fluids so trying to just relax and not worry.

Thanks guys! I can't wait to meet her! It's not set in stone but the top name so far is Paige Addison. My DH petty much just wants me to come up with names and says he has veto power. Lol. It's very typical of him. He actually likes Paige I'm not into out of the ordinary names but also don't want super popular either. I'll quit rambling now. I can't wait till everyone here gets their BFP!
