So DH called Fertility LifeLines a while back and they are the ones who looked into our insurance and found we only have a 25% co-pay.
But the clinic normally works with these:

The Apothecary Shop

or

Schraft’s
www.walgreensspecialtyrx.com/infertity

or
Freedom Fertility Pharmacy

My case manager said I can go with whomever I want but she just wanted to make sure I would get my meds in time and also mentioned they get some discounts for patients when using the pharmacies they use.
So WWYD?

I use Walgreens specialty...in fact, I ordered from them yesterday! Your dr calls in the script and then they call you to go over it, answer any ques and then overnight it to you. I had it shipped to work,I wanted to sign for it. I've used them both fresh cycles and for refills (pio) always free overnight shipping (10$ saturday delivery fee).

They have a discount program if ins covers nothing...I was on that.My meds were cheaper at Walgeens than Freedom...but it depends what you are on.

ps...what big meds are u going to be on???

I actually got my meds from over seas (France I think) I paid $1,488. I'm not 100% sure, I think there was a $99 "rush" fee to get them sooner but 'groud' they got to me in 4 weeks. You put down the date you need them by and then they tell you if you need to rush or if the ground would be okay. I would totally use them again if we needed too. I"ll try and find the name of the pharmacy, but if you need them before 4 weeks it may not be worth looking into. I also used a different pharmacy for my meds this go around, all I needed was the progesterone gel, doxycyclin and Femara, I spent $110 this go around. Gosh, I'm horrible at remembering what the names are. I believe the second shipment was Canada.

I have a friend that used freedom pharmacy, she said she spent over $3,000 I just about shipped my pants! LOL and she said she got a discount!!! WOW'sers

Like Leah said, it really depends on what meds you're going to be taking and how much you need. My RE told me he didn't care where I got the meds just as long as I got them on time. He suggested over seas because the meds aren't as uncommon there as they sometimes are here and are cheaper. USA jacks up the prices, I called my meds my liquid gold meds. Because truthfully, I would have spent three times as much here as I did over there. Great Britten, France, Dominican Republic. Google "online IVF pharmacy's" just check them out! GL

My coordinators big concern was them changing something and us getting the meds on time... She said they get them from a company near them but is ANOTHER 15 minutes north of us. AND they don't deliver! And I am thinking if I am pay $$$$ they should deliver on time **** it!

How was walgreens with getting them asap?

Why does this one stupid thing have to be so hard?!

She told me what I was using and then i forgot because I said i took repronex in the past and she said, "oh its similar" or the same thing or something. I am normally really good about remembering those details and I really wanted to know!!
So now i should find out when I get my calendar next week in the mail.

Walgreens Specialtiy ships overnight - free - ALL the time. And mine came in a huge styrofoam box yesterday with gel packs to keep it cool, even though nothing needed refrigerating...because they said it's summer and they want to be sure it's okay.

I called them to make sure the Lovenox didn't need to be refrigerated...and they were so nice. I can't say enough good things about them. They send the sharps container, alcohol wipes...everything you need.

I had a friend run into issues with getting her meds on time with a pharmacy overseas....and had to go to a local place...so she ended up paying twice for it. IMO you don't need extra stress when going through all this!

Was it Bravelle and Menopur? (This is what I used) Gonal-F or Follistim...those are the big guns usually....

Baron Pharmacy will ship overnight for free too. I would call them and Walgreens and ask their prices and go with what is cheaper. Your dr probably gets a little referral bonus for sending people to certain places. Pick what is cheapest for you.

Barron Pharmacy - Specialists in FERTILITY MEDICATIONS

For my PIO gel Crinone I used Freedom Fertility though because it was almost 100.00 cheaper.

Freedom Fertility ships next day and they always arrive on time. I really liked their customer service, and always had a pharmacist available to talk to. I had to get some refills on the estrogen and progesterone, including syringes and needles. I ordered at like 7 pm and they arrived the next day by 4 pm.
