So many familiar ladies on this thread: Leah, Lucy, Jill, Prendy-hi! Good luck to you all! Randomly wanted to check in on everyone since I haven't been on the site since Novemnber. I'll check back in later to see how this cycle is treating everyone. Saying prayers this is THE cycle for all of you!

I am just giving a small update. Tomorrow we go for DH's SA and my sonohystogram. I am hoping I can get some questions answered tomorrow too. I am on CD 11 right now and day 10 of bcp. I am just curious if they are going to have me finish out this month of bcp and then start me on fertility meds or what's going to happen. They told me that my name is on the March calander. I am so excited. I am trying to just stay calm and laid back about it all. When I want something, I want it NOW...so this waiting till March thing isn't very easy for me...but I know the docs know what they are doing and good things come to those who wait. If anyone has any advice or maybe just give me an idea of how this process is going to go, I would appreciate it.

Thank you!

Update on me:

Ultra sound tech said there were 14 follies measuring 14 mm and above. Of those, I know there like 6 or 7 that were 16 and above. I tried really hard to keep note of every single measurement, but there ended up being quite a few and she goes pretty fast, I quickly lost count, LOL! I am thinking they will trigger me tonight for a retrieval on Thursday. One thing I was wondering is if the smaller ones can still grow a bit more to catch even though I might be done with the meds? I asked what size they have to be in order to "get an egg", and she talked about a 18-20 mm range. Like I said, I think there were 6 or 7 of those at that size, but if the 14-16 can still maybe catch up, that would be good. She kept saying a lot of women would kill for those numbers, which I am thankful we know we can move forward with the retrieval, but I also know I got more last time.

BUT, I am trying to focus on hoping the quality is there - fingers crossed! Now, I just have to wait for the call with my E level and further instructions. YIKES!!!!!

Thinking of everyone! I have to go back and catch up later ;o)

great news for Prendy09 & Danielle!

my blood work came back "abnormal". i'm not sure specifically what this means. they scheduled an intralipid infusion for me 3 days prior to ET & if I get a positive beta, then I will have another.

has anyone else done this infusion?

thanks! xo

I triggered last night, and go in tomorrow morning for retrieval. I have 14 follies that range from 15mm-20mm. I know they will keep growing and I also took one last dose of Gonal F last night too, so that will help a little too. Hoping the 15's catch up to the point to give us more eggs.

I have been through this before, yet I am starting to get nervous. I don't let myself think about too much, for if I do the anthesia part freaks me out a little. I know it's fine and I am only out for like 20 minutes, but still scares me a bit, but like I said I try not to think about it, LOL!

And then, the first waiting game begins tomorrow for the first fertility report, which they said I would not hear anything until Saturday! That is going be a long two days!!!!!

When I am home tomorrow and for the rest of the weekend that will give me more time to catch up on here! Thinking of everyone ;o)

I have started Menopur & Follistem. Follistem is like Gonal-F but a different brand in hopes of less migraines. I go back for monitoring on Monday. So far the med's are treating me much better than the last 2 times. No migraines yet, yahoo!!! Now let's hope that the eggs like the med's too.

Hi all-
I'm new to this board as well as it's my first IVF cycle. I'm CD8 and started BCP. Starting lupron 2/8. I'm so ready to get this party started after 2.5 years of TTC but pretty darn nervous as well. You all seem to be very supportive of each other so I decided to join the fun. Looking forward to the chats!

Hi ladies,

I was laying around and resting most of the weekend. I wasn't crampy after the retrieval but my stomach was sore, as the nurses said they had to push around a lot on my belly for optimal viewing, so that was pretty sore for a couple days. Feeling a lot better now!

The day I left after the retrieval, I knew the got 22 eggs. As of yesterday, when I got the news that I would be a day 5 transfer, for tomorrow, they were still watching 12 embryos!!!!

I expected that 12 number to drop a couple days and as of yesterday it still hadn't. I still do expect it to drop though. To have 12 embryos left over is just too good to be true.

So, today, I wait for my phone call about what time I go in tomorrow ;o)

Hope everyone is well and had a great weekend!!!!!

Prendy, Wow! That is great news.

I went in for monitoring this morning. We have 7 follicles between 11-14mm's. Very surprisingly, they are from both ovaries this time, not just one. This is pretty good for us as I have DOR & tend to be a low responder. We are looking at an end of the week retrieval, hopefully not in a snowstorm..

Hello ladies! I'm so happy I found this group! I start my Lupron injections on February 19th. I had a failed tubal reversal that resulted in an ectopic pregnancy (lost right tube) and blocked left tube. I am going to CNY Fertility in Albany.
