I did it because I know I don't have time the rest of the week. I ended up going over to a consignment store a bit ago and buying some baby clothes. I found a couple of adorable preemie size sleepers (in case they're small) to take to the hospital. I even found 1 outfit that says "Little Brother" across the shirt. I need to find another one to match it...well, after Wednesday when I know for sure if B is a boy or girl. Fixing to take the youngest to batting practice at the ball park. After that, the rest of the night is resting!! Tomorrow is running with doctor's appointments and double header ball games. Wednesday is more appointments but then the evening is free. Thursday is free during the day and then a double header ball game that night. I MIGHT be able to spend the entire day Friday doing NOTHING!! Oh how I hope so!!

How are you doing??

Amy- you better slow down or these babies are going to force you into bedrest! You are crazy supermom! I don't do half what you do and I am baby-free. Take care of yourself, we worry about you!

I learned today what my limits are. And I'm officially off tub cleaning detail for the remainder of the pregnancy. I can't reach the far side of the tub to clean it without my belly pressing into the side of the tub. So that's officially off the check list for me. Sweeping I can still handle. Mopping has now been handed off. I don't do the vacuuming, haven't since the 2nd hip surgery really because of the tugging motion. I think part of why I keep going is that Todd works his tail off at work and they're short handed and he's working 6 days a week, usually 12-14 hours a day so I feel REALLY guilty asking him to do some of the housework. I've already increased the boys daily chore lists to start taking over some of the things around here. The last thing I will give up will be laundry. I'm OCD about everything but laundry is seriously my trigger! I can lose it over some laundry. It has to be folded a certain way, only certain things can be washed together, everything has to be on the hanger facing the same way...and that's the short list!! But after this week, this Mom has decided it's time for a slow down period. Everyone else is going to have to step up their game around here. I appreciate the concern. At times, it's the only concern I get. The boys don't understand it. And Todd (God love him) is often over bearing to the point I want to choke him!

How is everyone doing??

For about a week, everyone avoided me! But after that I tapered off. Sometimes I'm hormonal but it's the normal pregnancy type of hormonal.

April, I hope one day she comes around. It'll be good for both of you!! No thanks necessary for the continued prayers. They'll keep coming!

AFM, I see the OB tomorrow for the regular checkup. We are going Wednesday morning to a different 3D/4D place so I'll know then what the other gender is or should anyway. This place offers a free scan in 14 days if they can't get a clear picture for gender determination. Hopefully the little bugger cooperates!! I'd like to just KNOW for sure so we can get on with planning everything. I've totally over done it today. I cleaned on the babies room (it also currently doubles as the guest room and we had overnight guests a couple weekends ago and I haven't put the sofa bed back in or washed those sheets) and put up all the clothes I've washed this morning (3 loads) of baby clothes that were given to us, been working on the rest of the laundry (load 6 currently in the washer), cleaned the guest bathroom (or the youngest's bathroom as it's also called), made the youngest clean his room (that was a battle, cleaned my living room (including dusting which I HATE), swept and mopped both the living room and kitchen, and scrubbed the kitchen down. Color me done!! I had hoped to sweet and mop the utility room, clean our room, get it vacuumed and clean our bathroom. It's simply not happening today!! My back is killing me and my lower belly is hurting. I think my mistake is that I had on just my old lounge shorts which aren't maternity and therefore have no support in them and my belly has felt like 100 pounds pulling on me all day. So, I'm done! Everything else has to fall on someone else or wait for another day!
Thanks Amy! That is exactly what I was left with and took my last crinone today. Hoping not to be so crabby! I was such a happy prego on estrogen!

I am so lazy compared to you! I just can't do all that! I'm too exhausted! Be careful! Hugs!

Crinone=the devil!!!! I HATED that stuff!!! I did a happy dance on the last day of it! Since then I've leveled off. I've had a couple of hormonal days but nothing compared to how I was when I was on that junk!!! You should balance off soon and begin to feel more human!! As for my energy I've slowly been regaining it. And I do mean slowly! I figure at this rate I will have decent energy just in time to enter my 3rd trimester! Lol!

16 week checkup complete. All is well. Heart beats 168 and 159. Both kicking the Doppler wanting to be left alone. We won't be having the genetic testing unless we opt for amnio which is a not happening for me. The genetic testing will really only give you results for one and they don't know which of the two is effected. And I refuse anything invasive. Too much time, money, emotional and physical investment in getting them where they are. I know the miscarriage risk is minimal but I'm just not risking it. It wouldn't change the course of my pregnancy anyway. Next appointment is in 4 weeks. They're sending me to a specialist for a more complex and in depth ultrasound to get a better understanding of how well they're growing, exactly where their placentas are located and other stuff regarding them and their health. But we are still going tomorrow for another 3D/4D ultrasound to get some confirmation on gender.

I am so confused on the testing for Down syndrome by finger prick. Not the amnio test. Is that what is giving the gender reveal? Is that what Amy is saying only reveals one of the genders? It wouldn't encourage a termination so what is the point? I had my 10.6 week u/a yesterday and they look like babies now! My little guy was doing the running man!!! (I suspect baby A is a boy because he is always kicking and is longer 44 mm while B is pretty mellow at 40mm.
Heart rates 166 & 159.

Awwww!!! Look at those sweet babies!!!! Their heart rates nearly match mine identically today!! Ours were 168 and 159. I had to see the other OB today and before I could ask her about the genetic testing, she brought it up. She said normally they recommend everyone have the blood test and u/s that checks the back of the neck and checks for abnormalities but that with twins, the genetic information from the blood work would only show for one but there would be no way to know which of the two had the abnormality if one should show up in the blood work. She said with twins, they recommend the CVS or amnio and asked if I had considered those. I told her I WAY too much invested in getting these babies inside me and there was no way under the sun I was having any invasive procedure, especially when the outcome would not change the course of the pregnancy! Both of mine were kicking the doppler today off of them today. They do that at home too. Soooo glad your little ones are doing great!!!

We bought cribs this afternoon. This is feeling VERY real all of the sudden!! And now, I just gotta wait about 16 hours to see Jacob and (maybe) Josiah. Hopefully we know for sure tomorrow whether it's Josiah or Kara!!

Amy- it sounds like your babies are doing great! it must be so exciting listening to the heart beats <3!!! I don't know much about the invasive testing. it sounds scary though . i hope you get to see what baby B is tomorrow! super exciting, WOOHOO!

Baby- your babies are beautiful! i am so confused, i didn't know they could even test for downs with a finger prick. that's crazy! so when will we be able to find out the genders? oh i'm too excited. i think finding out the gender's is my fave part lol.

afm- ihave to start with last night. the office manager @ the clinic handles the finances. i HATE the way she does things. nothing is every clear in black & white. i just want the price & what it includes or an itemized price list. we found out this morning that they WAY over charged us for last cycle. i told her that 2 months ago & she said i was wrong. so we have a 2400.00 credit.

we went to see the doc for our follow up & he wants us to cycle again. i was surprised since we told them last time that the 3rd cycle was going to be our financial limit. he insisted that it was all DH, but i have a feeling it's my eggs too . so im terrified of moving forward. the Dr really wants me to try again so he discounted our cycle 3700. i started to cry, it was so nice & unexpected. the only stipulation was that we HAVE to use donor sperm. DH is on board, i'm freaking out in disbelief! so we're going for it! we're so broke, my card declined in the office, so embarrassing! so now i'm on a quest to find donor sperm.
i asked this kid i used to go to church with. he's so adorable! tall, athletic, good teeth. i can't believe he's already in his early 20's. i still see him as a 5th grader lol. he said "NO way". i'm not gonna lie, i was disappointed .
hopefully i will be joining the mommy club with you girls! sending hugs!

April, I am so happy that you will be able to do another cycle! You will find a perfect match for your donor sperm. This is such great news that you have a credit and you get a discounted next cycle. See...there is a reason this last cycle was a bust. So much good news is coming your way now. I can't wait for you to have your BFP! Love ya girlie!

Amy, that's great you got to see them right away again!! I like knowing our hr are so close... Perhaps indicating we at least have one boy and possibly one girl. I am with you on the amnio veto!! Forget it! No way! I'm just praying for the best. God knows what we can handle.

Kelkl- i hope i find the perfect donor. it's all i can think about. i even dreamt about it lol. last night DH & i were watching tv & he looked over @ me asked "are your thinking about sperm?". lol i was! i get major tunnel vision when something is on my mind. love u 2!

Baby- you're so sweet! i hope it's our cycle . i was on cloud 9 when we left the clinic. i want to be excited, but i'm so scared to get my hopes up again. i just have to try & not obsess, but that's pretty hard for me to do lol.

Whitney! thanks for the luck! i'm praying the sperm makes ALL the difference.

i really want to find a known donor if possible. my Dr doesn't want me to, in yesterday's meeting he was like "just pick a donor!", but i'm very analytical. i need to have peace about my decision. i'm praying the right one comes my way.

Hi girls! I've been a little MIA! My back problems got so bad that I could hardly move. Happy to report first day today that I got some relief. The chiropractor is finally working!!!!! I think tomorrow I'm going to tell my boss I'm prego. I'll be 11.3. Hopefully I don't chicken out. I,m doing the harmony test for my genetic testing, which is a blood test.

Baby! The babies are beautiful!!!! Hope you are feeling better

Amy- you are super woman

April- I am so happy to hear your news! Maybe you should go with donor sperm from a bank so you know it's viable! Pick it early so you aren't stressed last minute. Seriously so excited for you!

April, YAY for another cycle!!! And at a discount (which to me seems only fair since they've been giving you the run around on what you owed them versus what you didn't)! I about spewed Sprite all over my laptop when I read that your DH asked you if you were thinking about sperm!! OMG!! Totally busted out laughing over here. Todd (DH) and Caleb (youngest) both looked at me like I'd lost what was left of my mind. I didn't even bother trying to explain it!! Donor sperm...I'm with MissB....start picking it NOW!!! Get it picked early. But seriously, don't look for "perfect" because it doesn't exist! Make a list of your requirements and then go back and put them in order from most important of those attributes to least important. Cover the most important and make peace with letting some of the lesser important ones go if you have to!

MissB, I'm soooo glad you finally got some relief!! The massage therapist I normally go to doesn't feel comfortable doing my massages with me being pregnant. She gave me the number of a massage therapist who specializes in prenatal massage. I forgot to call him today but plan to tomorrow for sure. I'm thinking monthly for now and then every 2 weeks in a couple of months. The chiropractor and I don't get along too well. They are constantly adjusting and I tell them it's pointless. The 2nd hip surgery I had, they had to add hardware in so it made my left leg 1/4 inch longer than my right and because of that, my back is ALWAYS going to be out of alignment, no matter how many times he aligns it. But I do still go periodically!

AFM, another busy day. We went to Louisville to get another u/s. I'll post pics and give the update in just a minute. From there, Todd took me to Once Upon A Child (a consignment store, it's not everywhere but is in several places) and we ended up spending $86!! I found outfits that match but that aren't matching (meaning identical) for their 3 month pictures. I found preemie sleepers (just in case they need them since the odds are good they will). Caleb went with us. He's the baseball fanatic. He picked out several outfits, all baseball themed (imagine that) and a Step2 slide that is tiny and on one side has a basketball goal and on the other side a baseball that's attached but spins and it comes with a basketball and a bat! I even found a couple of maternity shirts and a dress for church!! Those were on clearance (whoo hoo!). Then of course the guys just had to eat. No sooner than we got home (finally) Todd has to go to town for a new battery for our mini van and wanted me to go along. We ended up grabbing pizza in town for supper. I was NOT going to cook tonight. Now I'm camped out in the bed because I was up doing too much today and am having some lower belly pressure (nothing major or alarming, just a heavy weight feeling....and I didn't have on the supportive stuff today, just the comfy stuff so I'm seeing I HAVE to have the supportive). Anyway, here are today's u/s pics!!

***update*** I've tried both on the laptop and on my phone and can not get the pics to show up for some reason!! I will try again later. But they're BOTH BOYS!! For sure!!

I haven't ever got attached to any of the fair animals b/c we always know they will end up leaving us at the fair, but this one has really got my attention and I am really hoping he dosen't make the sell, I would like to keep him around the house, he follows my son everywhere. The other day we were bbqing and his butt jumps on the bbq pit while they were cooking.. lol

We don't get attached to the cows here on our farm because we know eventually they'll be gone. Except for a couple. There was one that died a couple of years ago. She was 21 years old. There's another still around here. She'll never go anywhere. Both were twins abandoned by their Mom and bottle fed and raised and thought they were human, not cows. The one that died was named Pet (of all things, lol) and the other is named Sarah. We still to this day can go out and climb up on her back and go for rides, if she's in the mood to walk around. Otherwise we can just sit up there and rub on her. If we go out to the field, she always comes running and if we don't pet her right away, she uses her head to lift our arms to make us rub her. It's easy to get attached!! I can't wait until next spring when I can throw Jacob and Josiah up on her back and see how they react!!
