I've been relying on kelkl to give me strength and sanity during my stressful work situation. Thanks for being there for me Lady!! It's a blessing to he a part of this group even though I disappear every so often! I had some stronger round ligament pain and had a quick early scan done to make sure the babes were ok. Well our boy is already sucking his thumb practicing to nurse - no doubt! My girl is still keeping her feet in the air and waving hello...of course we will know for sure the sex next week but I'm having fun assuming the tech was right at 12 weeks!

hi Baby! i'm SO happy to hear from you. I had thought about joining a dating site lol (great minds think alike)! I don't want to spend anymore money though :/. I have 3 prospective donors. one is local & he said he wanted to meet/interview us. the others are across the country! i'm really praying on one of them! I really want him to be "the one". he's going on a 10 vacation out of the country tomorrow. so I have to be patient & wait to hear back from him . it sounds like you're doing great minus the ligament pain & work. I can't wait to get another confirmation on the genders! i'm so happy you got a good deal on the cribs! 2 cribs for 50.00? that's incredible! & practically identical too, great score!

MissB- I hope your Aunt is doing better! how were the IVF kits received? I bet they LOVED them, who wouldn't?

Amy- I hope the mini getaway was incredible! lots of quality time, rest & relaxation

sending hugs to all of you Beauties!!!

Actually have an Internet signal at the moment but no telling how long it will last so definitely a quick post and catch up more when we get home. Vacation started out crappy! Truck pulling the camper died before we got out of town. Our nephew let us borrow his so we were about 2 hours later leaving than planned. Took a but to get everything set up (hadn't used the camper in a year and had to restock a lot). Then just as I finally dozed off the electricity to the campground went out. I wouldn't necessarily care but it was WAY TOO QUIET!! Couldn't sleep. Then I was hot with no fan or ac (yeah, really roughing it, huh?). Came back on about 9:30 this morning. Been a day of Braxton hicks ALL day!! Not frequent enough I had to call but frequent enough to be an obstacle. Then Josiah got up in my lung. Three hours of struggling to breathe!! I finally got a nap in and I feel fine again. No BH and I can breathe!! NOW I'm enjoying myself!! Working on fixing supper and listening to a DVD of Gabriel Iglesias (comedian for those who don't know). Kids are with us now. Life is good!!!

Baby you have been the best too me too so the help has been mutual for sure!!

Amy, what a start to the vacation! So glad to have a few hours to yourself and now your kiddos are able to have some vacation time with their mama, all 5 of them. I went on vacation this weekend too and forgot to take one of my meds...whoops! I brought it but it slipped my mind. I called the clinic and they told me not too take the skipped dose just too take it tonight. Random question, I am polling the prego people I know...when you were first pregnant, did you get symptoms everyday? I didn't really have many symptoms today. I felt a little queasy when I was hungry and my breast are a little tender but not like yesterday when all day I was in total symptom mode.

Quick answer to that question Kelkl......I had NO symptoms (that couldn't be attributed to progesterone as well). No morning sickness, nothing major on the fatigue, boobs were sore but were from the time I started the progesterone. Only thing I really had was an increase in headaches. I've always dealt with hormonal headaches and migraines so at first I could even give the drugs credit for those. What time is beta??????

Right now! I'll update everyone as soon as I get the number. I'm not sure what time they will call. I have a painful spot in my groin and I'm not sure if it is related...I hope not and I wish it would go away!! Lol.

OMG!!! This is killing me!!! Even DH said they need to hurry the heck up already so I will stop trying to check the internet every 5 minutes! Then he grins and asks if they've called yet. He's even getting impatient to hear. I keep him posted on all of you.

Amy- Dang Love! what a rough start. I guess our Amy need a vacation from her vacation. sorry the electricity went out, it sucks being in the heat. im sure its amplified when you're pregnant . i'm so sorry Love. those BH, I wish they would leave you alone. it makes me nervous! so how was the time with just you & Hubby, did you guys talk about the kids the whole time? I heard that happens when you're parents lol. I hope you get a chance to relax, you always have a million things going on, you need a well deserved break!

Kelkl! what is going on with your beta?!!! I was hoping to hop on & see your #. I can't wait, i'm just so excited!

afm- today had a really sh*tty start, pardon my language. DH's truck is too long to park in the garage so he has to park in the drive way. his truck was broken into & they stole a lot of tools! it made me sick to my stomach. I feel so violated & angry. then one of the donors (med school graduate, lives in baltimore, world traveler, athletic build) he said no. so I was so sad, disappointed & stressed all morning. then I got a message from our other potential donors. he said YES! I was crying hysterically on the ph to DH. he thought something was wrong. I have a hiccup though. he lives out of the country right now doing his MBA internationally. I contacted my clinic & they said "no that wont work". they have no idea how much rejection & how painful it's been looking for a donor. I need to find a solution. I found a intl cryo shipping company. I need to find where to do a SA, blood work & freeze. I called 2 IVF clinics in his city, but they won't do it because i'm not their patient. there are also NO sperm banks in his city or any neighboring city . I would even offer to fly him back (I know there are no guarantees of pregnancy), but that's how much we love this donor. i'm happy & confused.

I just LOVE you girls so much!

I don't know whether to be thrilled for you or cry!!!! How much would it cost to fly him back?? I'm thinking that will be your best option there. Maybe even cheapest?? People these days suck!! I will never understand thieves!! There's nothing I want or need badly enough to steal from someone!!

We didn't spend much time talking about the kiddos....until we got the boys from their bio. Now it's all about them. And I love it!!! We spent today in the lake and that was fabulous! Being weight free at this point was beyond awesome!! We are back at the campground. The guys are fishing. I'm watching a bobber in the river lol. Ok so I'm spending more time on my phone than anything else right now because I'm dying to hear how the beta numbers are and to find out about a donor for you. But I'm not much on fishing anyway. The tranquility out here is awesome.

Don't know why the pics popped up at the top. Weird!

So, I finally called at 3:30 because I couldn't take the suspense anymore and they said they were waiting for the doctor to look at my labs and decide on my meds. However....they said I am pregnant! My beta was 114.7. Now I have to go back on Wednesday and Friday to see if it is rising properly. I hope that it does. I really want this. In other news, one of my employees put in their notice today....not going to let even that get me down! I am so happy!

April, I am so happy you found a donor! Let us know what you decide to do. I am with Amy, flying him back sounds like it might be the best option. I am so glad we both had AMAZING days!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Ladies!!!

I've missed you all and so excited to read the updates!

Kelkl, congratulations! I am so excited for you. All that hard work has paid off. Keep us posted on your beta levels, I'll say a little extra prayer that the number doubles!

Amy- I'm so jealous of vacation! We aren't going on vacation till Labor day week and I cannot wait. It's long overdue and I need it so bad. I know you guys had a rough start but looks like it was pretty relaxing once you got there.

Baby- I love seeing your updates because we are the same week! Except I'm sure you are feeling different things with twins! Glad things are going well. Do you have a baby bump?

My sweet April- I am so happy for you that you have a potential donor but cant believe you now have to figure out how to get his sperm here in the states. Did you find him through a donor bank? I was trying to recruit my friends husband for you yesterday lol.

Things overall are going good for me. My bleeding has stopped now for a full week and I have an ultrasound this week to check the size of the clot. Hoping the thing is gone and I can be off pelvic rest! I really want to get back to walking and well we haven't been cleared to have sex for basically for 16 weeks. Poor DH, he is being understanding. I gave both girls their IVF survival kits. They loved them!!! Lots of tears and they both were so thankful that I went through all the shots with them. One girl has progesterone shots, any advice? I remember hearing complaints about them being a pain in the butt. Literally! She is very afraid of needles so the poor thing has anxiety about the whole cycle. I've been buying a few baby clothes, just can't help myself they are so stinkin cute and a few people have already bought us gifts. I've been researching things to register for. It's all so overwhelming. I went into babies r us the other day to just checking things out and almost had anxiety attack! No baby bump for me yet. Though regular clothes are not fitting and maternity clothes are still a little big. I'm in the in between area.

I keep you all in my prayers every night, now it's April's turn!!!!!

hi MissB!!! oh I would be so surprised if tears weren't shed! you are so sweet & thoughtful . as for the PIO shots. it helped when hubby massaged the injection afterwards. I mean like a full 5 min, not 4 min 40 seconds lol. the rubbing really helped, although it was still painful.
i'm so excited you're having a girl! I will have to exercise some major & I mean MAJOR self control if we have a girl. girl's clothes so fun!
your DH must be SO excited lol. poor thing! I can't wait to hear how the US goes. I pray the SCH is GONE!

afm- we have local guy, that i stalked on FB. he's a friend of a friend. he's said he might be interested, but he wants to interview me first. he said he has Wednesday off. I want to meet him in case (God forbid), my long distance donor falls through. how do I kindly ask him to be a back up? is that insulting/offensive? i don't want him to feel used or like i wasted his time.

I know this sounds silly to most, but we'd prefer the long distance donor, he used to go to my church & he shares more of my husband's qualities physically. like they are both tall, & a little have a similar build! i also like that they are both kind, sweet, super smart & a great moral compass. when DH saw his picture, he was like "I hope he says yes!"

any advice would be warmly welcomed!

Hi April,
I thought about your question all night. I don't think I would tell him that he is your back-up at this point. I'd let him interview you and if he says yes, I'd have him do the SA (too), so if the SA of the international guy comes back bad or you can't get it into the states, you haven't soured this donor's experience and he is less likely to back out because his feelings get hurt, etc. The reason I advise the above is because you are very specific on what you are looking for (which is not a bad thing at all, it is going to be your kid). Since you asked him, there was something great you saw in him. Ultimately, you'd be happy if he was that ended up being the DS. He isn't your first choice but he doesn't have to know that and it is better to have two people willing/able to do it then none at all. How much is a SA?

I hope this advice helps. Although, go with your gut. Only you know what is right to do.

Ms. B! I am so glad the bleeding stopped!!! I am also so glad your friends loved their survival kits. They were AMAZING! Yes, I agree. Now it is April's turn!!!!

pregnant Kelkl! thank you SO much for your advice . you're right, there was something about him that i did like. he has a very warm & kind face.

i agree with you 100%. i don't want to sour his experience or the relationship between us. so i'm going to keep the back up part hush hush for now.

the SA at our clinic is $215. i don't know if i want to get him in for a SA right now. we are so strapped for cash.

right now my #1 concern is how to get my donor's sperm tested & frozen. i have the shipping in place & the lab work covered.

IVF is never easy, but it will all be worth it!

i hope you are all having beautiful days!!! HUGS XO
