April- Any new news on the billing front? Can you escalate the issue to a manager. That mean lady seems like she needs someone to tell her to stop being rude (i.e. her manager)!

I am hoping AF is just around the corner because I am SOOOOO cranky today. It doesn't help that these herbs give me the worst nightmares so my sleep isn't the greatest these past few news. Don't get me wrong, I am SO happy I didn't have to have surgery or the shot to get this to pass. I just thought the three months I had off I would get to feel normal again. I should know by now that nothing in this process is normal, even during the breaks. Can't wait until the 14th to figure out when my FET is. I just want to keep this train moving. Although, it has been fun to watch everyone's journey on here. I am so happy Lisa got preggos!

Kelkl- hi Honey!!!

I am also sooo happy that you don't have to have surgery, & that you can see the silver lining! this process is sooo crazy, but i'm happy to ride the roller coaster with you . I hope your AF comes soon & gives you some relief <3. I know what you mean about the nightmares! I get them all the time (scary graphic ones). I had them every night after the 1st ET. I was surprised I got a pos beta on the 1st cycle. I was asking DH if he thinks the embies would run away because of them. I hope you get some rest & have some pleasant sweet dreams! sending big ((HUGS)) your way . you're doing so great, you're such a positive trooper.

MUAHHH!

Hi Ladies Just a quick check in. I am exhausted LOL but I will take it if exhaustion and sore boobs are all I get I can definitely deal with that. I went to the Dr. again Monday and we got to see the baby !!! It just looks like a teeny tiny piece of rice right now but I was still super excited, I am hoping we will hear the heartbeat on Friday (let's be honest I need some loving TMI). Also got myself enrolled in a healthy pregnancy program through our insurance (we get a $500 incentive if I complete it, so you know I will). Also, found an OB-GYN and went ahead and scheduled an appt. with her for 10wks (hopefully I will be released from the RE by then). I am glad it is getting close to time for you ladies, I am still lurking and following you journeys, just not updating much...I swear you ladies will see how much energy you lose LOL. It's totally worth it though Sticky Vibes and Baby Dust !! Love You Girls

hi Honey! so happy to hear from you , I'm glad you got to see your grain of rice!!! how exciting. I'm hoping you get to hear the heartbeat on fri. I heard the first trimester is so hard. I'm hoping to experience it soon . so did you find out your due date yet? let us know how fri goes.

its cool that your insurance has that 500.00 incentive. they're paying you to learn about what you're going through. how amazing is that?! I freaking love it.

things are tough over here. the office mgr has been the worst to deal with. we found out through A LOT of back & forth that we owe 3000.00 from our last cycle. I am super upset/angry/pissed about the way it was handled . we have our appt tomorrow to discuss our cycle next month? I'm really not happy about starting it on a bad note.

I hope your appt goes great!!!! sending you big ol hugs. xoxo

April- I've been down and out the past few days too. I feel like I have waited long enough and my patience is running out. I am hoping that they put me on provera on Monday and 11 days later I get AF (yes, it takes that long for me!!!) I hope that means the start of my FET cycle but who knows!! If that lil bean is not at 0 by Monday I am going to lose it!!! I am so sorry you owe so much. We took a loan out of my 401k since our packaged cycle was quite a bit more than most people's cycle. Luckily the money gets paid back to us but still, I wish we hadn't had to do that. With meds our packaged cycle was 27K. Yikes!!! However, that gives us up to 5 tries so we thought it was the best option. I hope you and I get out of our funk soon. XXOO

Kelkl- HI!!!! I am sooo happy to hear from you. I am so sorry that is going to take that long for AF to arrive. I can't believe it takes that long. sending a big ol hug your way!

27K for 5 tries?! that sounds incredible!!! I would sign up in a heartbeat . it sounds like you're with a great clinic!

so we went in for our apt today it was very overwhelming. I don't know where to start. Our RE suggested CGH genetic screening this time. its an additional 3950.00 for the test & an additional 3725.00 to freeze/store/unthaw/transfer.

DH drops his sample off tomorrow, if it's moving the DNA fragmentation test costs 400. then 225 to freeze, & 150 to unthaw. im soooo torn what to do with DH!!! the TESE costs 2960, I don't want to do it if it means we are getting poor sperm to create abnormal embryos. it seems like a waste of a cycle. I know that sounded horrible .

the Lupron starts 5/9, stims start 5/20, ER around 6/1 transfer around 7/1

I hope you get relief soon <3 XOXO

Lisa- can't wait to hear if you guys were able to hear the heartbeat tomorrow! XOXO

April- that does not sound horrible at all! I truly believe that everyone has to be honest with themselves during this process. I am glad the clinic gave you some answers though. And dates!!! How exciting. How is your husband with the donor sperm route? Does he want to pay the extra money in hopes of getting to use his own sperm? We are going to do the genetic testing if this next FET doesn't work. That will mean another frozen transfer but it will be nice to know what we are implanting. The 27K only pays for the ERs and ETs, not the meds or the 'extras' like ICSI, anesthesia or meds but it is STILL an amazing deal. I am glad we choose it looking back, as most people my age don't because of the expense and the likelihood of getting pregnant on the first try. When do you have to decide on the sperm route? Thanks for cheering me up! You always do a good job of that and I am happy to have you in my life!!!

hi Ladies! Lisa congrats on your little rice!!!! How exciting going through all these experiences. I've never even had a positive pregnancy test, I can't imagine how exciting it must be to go through all the "pregnancy firsts". April sorry to hear about all the problems with your clinic. I swear they treat it like a factory sometimes. I am very blessed that our insurance covers it. But our clinic billed the wrong company and we got billed for 15k. I'm sure it will get straightened out. But it will be a pain getting everything resubmitted and I don't want any surprised down the line.My re has never talked to us about genetic testing on our embryos. Is there a benefit for this? Before we started IVF my DH and I had to go through genetic testing ourselves. Kelkel good luck with getting AF. You need to go with April's trick of getting new panties!!!I have my next appointment tomorrow. I swear my ovaries feel like they are going to explode. Hoping that I didn't over stim. Most likely ER on Sunday, will just be happy to get over this hump.

Kelkl- I'm so lad I have you too!!!! think you & your DH are extremely smart to purchase a plan like that! I think all clinics should include icsi & assisted hatching. ours will include icsi, but no anesthesia or meds. we had to do 1 extra blood draw & they sent us a bill for 37 bucks. I was so surprised! something like that should be included. I think we have 2 more weeks to decide if we"re going to use donor sperm. he would rather pay the extra 2960 in hopes of creating a normal embryo, but the nurse & doc says its not likely. for me it's not just the 2960, it's the 2960 plus the whole cycle plus the meds & all of the emotional baggage. I tried to talk to DH about it but I totally chickened out. I hope you get AF soon, lol it's SO weird saying that. xoxo

MissB!- yes, I feel like I'm in an ivf assembly line sometimes! maKe sure you follow up on the billing. my mom had a dental i surance thing that ended up in collections. those billing problems can end up unresolved. i hope it gets resolved asap! you are so blessed you have great insurance, I wish I could marry you for your benefits , the first clinic we went to the genetic screening was mandatory, the cycle was very expensive, but I feel like It was Devine intervention that we went there. because of the screening we learned that we were creating abnormal embies. when you transfer normal embryos the implantation rate is higher. if you transfer an abnormal embryo it will not likely survive/ implant.
lol, I can't take credit for the panties, that was Lisa .
Im soooo excited that you're getting soooo close to ER! I hope they don't over stim too, how scary. let us know how it goes xo!

April you are so cute, you and your DH carry marry my DH and I for our benefits, lol. Massachusetts is one of the few states that covers IVF. My acupuncturist said she gets patients that relocate here all the time because of the insurance coverage, even international patients. Lisa, panties idea is great! I have suggested it to several friends no trigger tonight, ugh! so frustrated but I know clearly my body is not ready. Tomorrow is day 12 and I have to drive an hour for a 7:30 ultrasound to check on them again. I'm such a planner and was so hoping my ER was going to be on the weekend. Now more time off from work next week.

MissB- wow that's amazing that people move there for IVF. i can understand why since it costs an arm & a leg. i read your other post & i'm sorry it's taking so long this time. our 1st cycle was like that, it think we were stimming for 12 days. i was horribly uncomfortable. i felt like i could barely walk. i know that sounds so silly, but my stomach was sooo heavy. i hope it goes well tomorrow! i'm praying that the ER will be sooooooon! sending you lots of love to your beautiful future babies XOXO

Lisa!!! hi Honey! I am super happy you of to hear the the heartbeat <3. it's so sweet that your DH is going " swish swish swish" I love it! I heard fatigue & morning sickness are so strong during the first trimester. good thing you' re half way through it. my friend told me you get so much more energy when you hit the 2nd trimester. you're almost there!!!! when do you get to see the placenta? I'm curious if the right/left theory will work out . I'm so glad you updated us xo

DH dropped off his sample yesterday & he had moving sperm! amaze right? I couldn't believe it. so we get the DNA fragmentation test in a week & a half. if its good we're moving forward with DH spermies. I start lupron on 5-9, we are doing FET this time. I'm hoping for a miracle <3

XO

April- A week and a half will def. going by quickly especially with Easter being this weekend !! I really hope the fragmentation test goes well!! Hey Frozen it freaking AMAZE!!! My fresh turned into Frozen and worked out wonderfully! I have no idea when I will be able to see the placenta :/ Yeah DH is super cute with everything, we are now trying to make sure I eat the foods baby needs instead of my regular low fat/low carb diet. I really don't mind still don't want to get big during my pregnancy and am getting my walks in almost every day now, I slept ALL day yesterday! Apparently I was tired. I will keep checking in
