Hello ladies,

I am having IVF because after 3 girls I has my tubes tied and the reversal didn't work. Has anyone had their tubes tied after having children successfully and struggled with IVF? I have heard a lot about Crinone and POI. Which did you prefer? Thanks in advance!

Hi AmberCaramel, i've been using crinone 8% for 4 weeks and it was just fine until yesterday I developed an irritation so I'm just waiting for tomorrow to talk to RE on what else I can use. I have no knowledge of POI and the nurse said I might have to continue crinone through the a** until irritation clears up

I've used PIO for each of my 3 fresh and 1 frozen cycle...my dr said it's a little more effective and way cheaper than crinone....

I used both crinone and PIO during my IVF cycle. After my BFP and I was 6 weeks pregnant I only used the Crinone. The only preference I have is one that WORKS!

I have used both the Crinone and the PIO injections and honestly prefer the PIO. With the PIO there is less mess and I know it all gets where it needs to go without leaking out. My RE preferred the PIO because it is easier to measure your levels via bloodwork. Once you get used to the shots, they aren't that bad.

Thanks ladies! By the time I'll need it, I figure I've been sticking myself this long a little longer wont kill me. He gave me Crinone gel. We shall see.
