I am not sure if many of you will know me as I haven't been on the board for a while. I just wanted to share this bit of hope with you all. After miscarriage, 2 years of trying & 3 failed IVF's, along with a nurse's mistake in one of our cycles - we seem to have managed to conceive - unmedicated at age 39! We are at 7 weeks right now with a great heartbeat & just a tiny bit small size. We go back for another ultrasound in 2 weeks to see if development is steady & not slow (due to size). Yes, there is still a huge chance that this one will go away before the next 2 weeks are up - but for now - here is a miracle!

I think the thing that helped us is that we let go & stopped "pushing" for something to happen. We were at the "I give up" point.

I do hope that this is encouraging for you all & is not meant to be "rubbing it in" or boasting. I am still worrying about potential miscarriage as this is the time that our last one miscarried; between the first & second ultrasounds which were spaced 2 weeks apart. So now we pray & stay hopeful. Best Wishes.

Thank you all for the congrat's.

KatieL & FLhopeful I do hope you have wonderful journeys ahead of you in the world of motherhood. Congrat's!

Kelkl the waiting seems to be what it is all about & just goes on forever. Perhaps it is practice for waiting those 9 months. Praying for your wait to be fruitful.

April18, prayers for good news with your 4th cycle!

Hopemiami, best wishes wherever you are in this journey.

My next appointment is exactly a week away to see if this little one has decided to stay. I am just doing my best to not worry............& am very excited!
