Afternoon,

I am curious about IVF meds.
I was wondering how it exactly works? I mean like how many of each med is needed for a typical cycle? (I know all cycles are different but just an average)
I was looking a med site and it said:
Gonal -F(Organon Europe Pack) $187.50

I am just wondering if this price is for one PEN? or a few? How many are needed for a typical cycle? Do these PEN get used over & over?

For those in Canada, if you got your meds up here, how much were they? or did you order online?

Those prices are per vial. The pen uses a vial to inject the shot. Sometimes you need 2 or 3 vials so it can get very expensive.

I used the 900 pen & needed another 600 pen after that. Luckily I got the 600 pen for free from the drug rep. I think vials are cheaper but you have to mix the meds that way. The pen is ready to use, all you have to do it put in a new needle.
