So, I knew it was bad, but I got on the scale this morning and saw 163. This is how much I weighed the day I delivered my younger dd. Obviously I have gained some serious weight in the past few years. I am running a half marathon in early May and am the maid of honor in my sister's wedding in August. So, it will be easier to run if I lose weight AND I want to look smashing at my sister's wedding. So, I have got to lose weight.

Today is my first day official day of Weight Watchers and I so want to do well. If you start to see me slacking off, please yell at me! I get 22 points a day.

Thanks girls And, Angela - I am 5'7". I have a pretty tiny frame (currently with some chub on it), so my first goal is going to be 140. However, I wouldn't be surprised if I still need to lost some weight after that. When I was in high school/college, I weighed between 115-125 and that seemed like a good weight at the time. However, I have had two children and five pgs since then! So, I am just going to shoot for 140 and see what I think.

Day 2 - 04/02/08

Breakfast:
Apple - 2

Lunch:
Lean Cuisine roasted turkey breast/stuffing/apples - 5

Snack:
Tall skinny vanilla latte - 2
Rice krispie treat - 5

Dinner:
Spinach salad - 0
6 cherry tomatoes - 0
1/2 cup carrots - 0.5
2 tbs bleu cheese dressing - 2
1 oz feta cheese - 2
1/2 cup sweet corn soup - 1 (and now I need to get more - this is so good!)

Snack:
2 graham cracker sheets - 3

Points left: -0.5 (balanced out with the walk, though!)
Exercise: 50 minute walk

hmmm...i was 183 when I gave birth to my son 9 years ago...I am 191 now...really sucks, so I know how you feel...I want to lose my weight too...

You guys are doing really well on WW...I just know I would blow that thing to smithereens...so I am amazed at your will power...

plus I can't really afford a program...

on my diet, I'm supposed to eat what I want...whenever I'm hungry...of course, everything in me rebels against that as being any kind of method..but I lost 2 lbs so?

I'm doing WW for free! They have so much information available online that I am not going to meetings. My schedule is way too crazy to try to get to meetings weekly.

And, that is great the diet is working for you!

You are doing great lady!!! You should def order you a points calculator to have on hand at the grocery if you don't have one.. I also ordered the restaurant guide book and the 2008 food companion book, both are fabulous and LOTS of help!! I don't go to meetings either, but I have joined online which I plan to only do 3 months then I will just do it on my own after that!!! Keep up the good work!!

Thank you, Aimee!! I am feeling really good about this. And, having a points calculator is a great idea. I need to look into that. Can you get the books even if you aren't a member?
