I need support because I am a compulsive over eater, to the max. I am also a emotional eater who rewards with food. Here I am after spring break weighing almost 5 pounds more than when I left. What do you do to take the pounds off? How do you make healthy decisions?

I am requesting that everyone stalk my food and exercise journal and harass me!

I'm sorry hon. I have absolutely no idea what to tell you b/c I'm in the exact same situation. I eat my feelings... all of them, I eat when I'm not hungry, and I eat until the point where I just can't eat anymore. I know I am capable of losing weight b/c, like you, I've done so in the past, and lost quite a bit, but I just can't seem to find that motivation again. I'm sorry I can't offer much help, but I feel ya.

I will be stalking you lots Right now I am following Weight Watchers but I just gained 2 lbs back that I had lost so that has motivated me to stick to my diet to the max.. Just make healthier choices when you get hungry and just want to eat eat eat!!! Instead of eating foods with lots of fat go for carrot sticks or a pickle instead.. Little choices like that can make a huge difference... Limit your eating out and fast food because that is my biggest problem and I am trying my hardest to get away from it!! I will be watching you!!

I am only on day 7 of WW, but I really like that my caloric intake is limited for the day. If I don't have set rules, then I will eat whatever I want. And, I have noticed that when I am dieting without something like WW, all I think about all day is food. So, usually dieting ends up with me weighing more since I can't get food off the brain.
Just take it one day at a time! And, we'll all be there rooting for you along the way.

Wow I thought I answered this.....oh well

My motivation isn't for me, I suck at doing stuff for myself. But I am great at helping others....so thats my current motivation...get my body in shape/healthy for my baby! Just need to find what works for you. My mom had a rubber band on her wrist and when ever she wanted to snack she snapped herself...sounds odd but it worked for her LOL
