so you may or may not know that i've had a lot of problems with my neck and today was close to unbearable. i took about 8 advil and cried a bit at some points because i was just so overwhelmed with pain. i need to DO something, physio didnt work and massage didnt work either. so i tried HOT yoga tonight! hot hatha yoga it was called at the place i went to. omg i swear to god i'm in love, the teacher was about my age and she was sooo nice, and it was amazing. I LOVE the heat, the sweating, and really pushing your body to do things and focusing. I dont even really know how i felt during it because iwas just concentrating so hard. afterwards i felt a bit dizzy, so i sat around for a bit and i realized my neck had no pain anymore at that time, then after i changed and went outside i literally felt like a changed person. while the pain has slowly crept back into my neck, i can fully say that not even the 8 advil i took earlier gave me the amount of relief i got from the yoga. oh also i really felt like i had good posture and i didnt feel like slouching as much, so great!

so the first class was $10, and the second one is free, so i may see if theres one i can go to tomorrow, as i really need to get this neck under control. so it's $12 per class if i buy 20 after that or $14 per class if i buy 10, so i think i will do the ten and see how it goes.

but yeah bottom line - HUGE FAN!!

geez - copy catter. ha

glad to hear that you loved it!!!!

I felt everything you felt as well - it's amazing how re-energized and alive you feel when you walk out of there. It's like a session of therapy but without saying anything. lol.

it totally is!!! i know it sounds so cliche but it really is amazing. i summarized it to my sister as "it's like getting a facial, a massage and workout all at the same time" and now come to think of it you are right about a session of therapy! i told my sis that i was the happiest i'd been in a long time walking outta there

I've never been much of a yoga girl myself but always wanted to try a hot yoga class. It seems like it would be so much easier than a traditional yoga class (which could be helpful because I'm as stiff as a board). To bad my crappy small town doesn't have one
