I need some motivation to stay on track!

Ok so a few months ago I was doing great! I had lost about 20lbs but then I got sick. I gained it all back and then some! DB isnt helping.. he is a guy that doesnt eat healthy, wont even tough fruits and veggies and loves steak. I feel like the ladies in the slimquick commercial, where the guys get skinny doing all the wrong things and the women cant lose weight, or lose it where they dont want to!

One of the challenges I face is PCOS. Its not too easy to lose weight, even by doing all the right things! I'm hoping if I lose the weight my cholesterol will be better, I will be at a much lower risk for Type 2, and I will be more healthy overall!

So I am going back to the regiment I started when seeing a nutritionist, counting cals and carbs.. ugh

Today I am at 204..

My goal is 145

I have a lot to tackle here.. but I need to do it, and I need your supprt ladies!!

oh how I can totally relate. My dh will eat some fruit however he is worse than a child when it comes to getting him to eat veggies. And here I sit eating salads, etc. and busting my butt exercising and he is the one that looks like he is losing weight. oh how I can relate to what you are feeling.

I lost 50lbs and gained it back plus 7 so now I'm back on plan trying real hard to get it off plus some however we discovered that I am hypothyroid so that makes it somewhat harder for me to drop the weight as well but we finally think we have my meds right so hopefully that will help.

kudos to you for making the decision to get back on the wagon!!!!!

I'm one of those people who needs lots of motivation too, so I will be glad to help you with yours! Besides our goal weights are the same!

Funny story, I was only 4 lbs heavier than our goal weight when I started this; BUT I didn't change my diet I only started running and lifting weights...so my weight jumped up! I put on all this muscle super fast and watched my weight climb and climb...it was so quick I thought i was sick or something. (I don't think so anymore) Now my weight is starting to go back down bc I've started counting cal. too. So if you need someone to talk to about the drudge of counting cal. or if u need the motivation to work out when u don't want too, PM me!

Thanks for the supprt ladies! woohoo for 145 goal weights!

My nutritionist told me about http://www.fitday.com/ Not sure if anyone else is familiar with it, but it is a huge help in counting cals! You can add custom foods, or look through what they have already on there. I'm finding if I log into it every day when I log into JM it keeps me logging food!

DB and I have a contest going.. Who can be the most "in shape" by Christmas! How should we compare to determine who wins?? we cant do weight lost since I need to lose a lot more than him!

you could do % of weight lost, inches lost, or endurance (who could run the longest or something)
