I am starting this eating and exercise journal to keep me on track for where I want to be prior to TTC. I normally eat pretty healthy and sometimes am pretty active and exercise regularly, but over the last few months of not really working I find myself getting lazy and not exercising and snacking all day long. So I need a plan!!! I plan to do this journaling for 45 days, then do a detox similar to Angela's 7 day detox, then another 30-45 days of tracking. That will put me to the middle to end of September if I'm calculating correctly and right about when we will be getting ready to TTC

Wed June 11-

Food Consumed:
Breakfast
930 am
3/4 cup Fiber 1 cereal with 2% milk
1 cup of coffee with 2% milk
2- 16 oz water

Lunch
Noon-
Turkey sandwich- 2 whole wheat slices, 5 slices turkey, mustard, 2% cheddar
10 carrots
2 - 16 oz water

Snacks (OMG I do eat alot of snacks throughout the day!)
145 pm
4 slices of turky
1 slice of swiss cheese
1/2 of a red grapefruit

3pm
1 flour tortilla with 2% cheddar and swiss chesse melted in microwave and then spicy salsa on it (craved something spicy )
1- 16 oz water

5pm
1 chocolate fudge pop tart (craving chocolate- and its better than eating a brownie or candy bar )
1- 16 oz water

Dinner
8pm
4 bbq chicken tenders
3/4 cup peas
1 small baked potato with butter and sour cream
1 glass of red wine
2-16 oz waters

Snacks
10 pm
the other 1/2 of my grapefruit

Exercise
1115 am- 30.51 mins on treadmill- 2.0 miles, 281 calories

Vitamins
1 prenatal
1 DHA

Thurs June 12

Food Consumed:
Breakfast
9am
2 cups coffee with 2% milk
1 english muffin
3 turkey sausage links
1 hard boiled egg
1 slice 2% american cheese

Lunch
5 pita chips with kalmata olive hummus
handful of blue corn tortilla chips with spicy salsa
2-20oz bottles of water

Snacks
1 bowl of salad with turkey slices and 2% cheddar cheese and peas with light ranch dressing I made
3 slices of munster cheese
1-20 bottle of water

Dinner
3 slices of flank steak with rice, peas, and broccoli with soy sauce- which I made from scratch

Snacks
small bowl of 1/2 fat vanilla and chocolate ice cream with reduced fat whipped cream and low sugar chocolate syrup

Exercise
930 am- 30 mins on treadmill- 1.86 miles, 246 calories

Vitamins
1 prenatal
1 DHA

Saturday June 14th

Food Consumed:
Breakfast
11 am (slept in, big time
bowl of Multi Grain Cheerios with 2% milk
1- 16 oz glass of water

Lunch
skipped lunch today... oh wait, DH had a polish sausage by the mall we went too... had a bite with mustard. It was good
1-20 oz bottles of water while shopping

Snacks
2 pieces of red licorice
1/2 of a Hershey bar with almonds that I split with DH
1/2 bottle of 20 oz water.... so 10 oz

Dinner
salad with sliced turkey, 2% cheddar, peas, and ranch
5 pita chips with hummus
handful of blue tortilla chips with spicy salsa
2-16 oz waters

Snacks
10 PM
2 mini cupcakes, minus frosting. I baked them for tomorrow for our dads

Oh and 3 glasses of red wine... shiraz/cabernet .... mmmmmm its a good night ))))

Exercise
walked outside at an outlet mall for 2 hours... my calves and butt hurt... it wasn't alot, but something

oh I officially failed this! I am now writing in a journal what I eat and how much exercize. I'll see if I can keep up writing it all down.
