I am going to start my workout and food journal tomorrow morning..keep in mind i really cant take my girls out walking, due to bears in the area, so i am kinda stuck either doing workouts at home or driving to the gym, which i try not to go many places to do diesel being 5.50 a gallon! any suggestions!? I lost 40 lbs in a year, so I'm pretty sure 50 lbs by Feb 2010 is quite doable.

I did Atkins by-the-book and didn't workout all that much my first year (when I lost the 40 lbs). I did some walking on my treadmill and a few crunches 3-4 days a week for maybe 30 minutes. It wasn't until a few years ago that I really got into exercise - if you can't go outside and can't afford/house a treadmill or elliptical, then go for workout dvd's. I have a ton and love them - I mix them up with walking/jogging. They work different muscles, too, so I know I'm working everything. Plus, I hear from other parents that their children often want to join in with mommy. Most of these dvd's are fine for kids (unless you get into weight training or really intense stuff), so it could be a good family activity.

Bears? Oh my... I'd be the crazy lady running around outside TRYING TO FIND the bears! ha! Of course, if I had small children I may reconsider. hee.

lol...thats funny!! The bears are pretty nasty right now, very mean, lots of attacks, but then again all i would have to do is take my 3 "yard cows with me"!! we have a napolean mastiff (fang off of harry potter, but the previous owners cropped his ears, , an english bull mastiff and a rott!! all who have chased 3 bears out of the yard and a moose with her baby! speaking of that i should go do my weigh in!

Hi!
The biggest loser DVD's are SUPER awesome if you have to stay indoors. its like having a personal trainer, and you can choose the length of time that you want to work out for.
also eating lotsa veggies and fruits is key. fruit is really good for snacking, i get lots of different kinds and keep it in the house.
