I have been wanting to lose about 10-15 pounds for about a year now. I was 110 went on bc, and my tiny little body became a body i am embarrassed of and dont even recognize as my own. I now weigh about 140, I wont blame it COMPLETELY on the bc because i also work at a very small company with only 2 other girls and myself and we literally get fast food everyday for lunch! Ugh! So bad i know!!! This all happened around the same time so all of the weight gain happened all at one time. Anyway heres the big problem that has held me up for so long.. I am the pickiest eater you will probably ever meet ... EVER. My diet literally consists of potatoes (in some form or another ALWAYS plain though) pasta, some chicken, and then the fast food fries and chicken nuggets and so on. I always force myself to try and like salad but no matter how many times i take a bite... it is never good! It looks soo good though! Okay so i dont like lettuce, tomatoes (eww and i cant even have like a pasta with even the tiniest chunks of tomato) rice, i dont like ANY fruits ive tried them many many times, as far as vegetables i only like green beans, carrots and potatoes! Someone help! I dont know what to do to be healthy when all the foods i like are NOT healthy! I need to be pointed in the right direction because i have no clue what to do!!?? I also drink mountain dew every single day... will cutting that alone out of my diet help any? I mean dont get me wrong i know its not good or helping at all, but if i had like some kind of motive like ... "If you dont drink mountain dew anymore you should lose x pounds" that would help me to not drink it at all, because right now it is the only liquid that goes into my body!!!! OMG! Thats so bad. I drink probably 4-6 cans a day sometimes more!!! HELP ME!!!

About the whole Mtn Dew thing...I know that after cutting soda out of my diet alone I lost 10lbs. Mountain Dew has a crapload of sugars, which aren't good to be drinking all the time. I know you don't want to hear me say that you need to drink water, but you really do. Because I can't drink just plain water, I get those crystal light single pouches for lemonade or ice tea. There's a million flavors, they're yummy and NO calories or sugars!! If you can't completely cut out the moutnain dew, I'd limit yourself to one a day. Normally I would say drink diet, but I think diet mountain dew is gross and drinking diet soda, while being less sugars and calories, still isn't good for you.
Have you ever thought about seeing a nutritionist? I don't know what kind of insurance you have, but you may be able to get a referral from your primary doc. They're really helpful, especially when you're a really picky eater. They can take all the foods you DO like and make a really yummy menu. They can also give you many many different recipes that are healthy and only contain the items you like.
GOOD LUCK!
Give me a list of foods that you really do enjoy and I'll try to come up with some yummy recipes for you
Are there any other meats you eat besides chicken?
Do you like spicy foods?
I'll brainstorm a bit, but in the meantime, give me some more specifics on what you do eat.

Ohh! Thanks so much for helping!! yay!! Water actually isnt that bad for me i can drink alot but the problem for me is while im drinking it im like this has NO taste at all and I want a mountain dew, because it tastes so good!
Okay this is going to be bad, dont say i didnt warn you! lol Oh and yes i like spicy foods!!
Things I LOVE:
I LOVE pasta, if i could it eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner i literally would!! I like a white sauce more than a red
Anything with potatoes
Chicken, turkey, and like a "stew" meat are the only meats i like (i love pot roast w/potatoes and carrots is that healthy? lol)
I love cheese.. anything with cheese is DELISH in my book!
Things i like :
Green Beans
Some fish
carrots
pizza
bagels (with cream cheese)
fries
tacos
Okay im having a hard time thinking of more, thats crazy that this is all my diet consists of!! If theres anything you have a recipe for and i didnt mention whether i like it or not just ask!

I'm so sorry I didn't reply yesterday!! Things at work have been insanely crazy
However, I did find a great site to search for really healthy recipes. What you do is, you selet the ingredients that you want from a list, and then from another list you select the ingredients that you don't want and it comes up with 100 recipes, for breakfast lunch & dinner. It's really great. Sometimes in a recipe there might be a certain veggie you don't like, but remember you can always substitute things.
Take a look at it and let me know what you think...

Just wanted to add a little update!
Starting September 8th I slowly stopped drinking soda, and starting counting calories. I NEVER eat fast food for lunch anymore (which if you read my original post you would see I ate fast food every single day) I eat a lunch meat sandwich and a soup for lunch everyday (which is actually tasting good) to me now. And now I drink absolutely no soda at all and at least the 64oz of water a day. Just doing those things in 2 weeks i have lost...... drumroll please.....
9 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To me that is great and im soooo happy!! Mostly because all ive really done is stopped drinking my soda! I still eat what i want for dinner and lunch i just dont eat fast food anymore!

Good luck to you!!! That sounds amazing! And it gives me so much home! And I know about the soda. I switched from regular to diet, and lost 6lbs in one weekend. That was amazing! Now I've cut soda out except for maybe one can every few days and switched to drinking water. It does get boring, but then sometimes I'll drink ice tea, or fruit juice and that will cut my craving. I'm sorry to hear that you don't like fruit. It is a great way to lose weight. Do you take a mult-vitamin? It can give you the added vitamins and minerals you may not be getting from your diet. I take the flinstones, cuz some of the adult ones have too much iron, and my body can't handle it. And I would also recommend talking to your doctor! It sounds like you are doing great! Keep up the good work, and good luck!

oh yay i'm so proud of you!!!
i cut pop out of my diet proably like a year and a half or more ago (including diet - due to the aspartame).
i'm so glad you're seeing results from it too!
my advice tid bit would probably be to go slowly with the changes and make each one stick before moving on to the next.
slow and steady wins the race!
:-)
