Hi, everyone! I had a pregnancy loss back in August, and I gained 15 lbs. I am now 50lbs heavier than I would like to be. With my DD, it's hard to find time to work out either at home or in the gym because of soccer, homework, PTO meetings, etc... I also work and I get up at 5:30 every morning and try to get to sleep around 9:30-10:00PM. I have time after 8:30 to work out, but I'm usually so exhausted throughout the day and even if I could muster the energy, then I wouldn't be able to sleep. I was taking the dogs out for a walk for about 1.5 Miles at a brisk pace, but that wasn't working. So, now I'm trying Hydroxy Cut MAX for women... It's okay, I guess, but I find myself really hungry about three or four hours after I take it. on top of that, I'm eating all the time! I can't help myself. I think it's because I've stopped drinking soda and I'm used to that full feeling you get from drinking soda all day. But I can't drink soda while I'm on the HC because I need to drink water! So, I'm up to about 6 16.8 oz bottles of water a day. But I'm still not losing any weight. If anything, I feel like I gained some cuz my pants are getting snug!

With all the combined weight I've gained, I feel disgusting. When I walk my legs rub together. I have rolls ontop of my rolls. My legs look like giant sausages. I'm so disgusted with my own body, that I can't even make love to my DH anymore. I'm just so embarrassed! And still I keep eating! What is wrong with me??? I have low energy, even lower self esteem. I try to eat veggies at everymeal, and I make sure I have a larger portion of vegetables than I do my main dish. I have a hard time eating fruit, and I usually just grab breakfast on the go... I eat leftovers for lunch, and I try to bring yogurt and some crackers for snack.... But I ended up overeating anyway. And then at night I have something again when I go to sleep. I bought stuff for salad and fresh fruit but I can't seem to get myself to actually EAT that.

So, after all of that, I guess my question is: has anyone found something that works? I can't afford weight watchers or any of that other stuff. The adkins diet doesn't work for me cuz I eat a lot of carbs, and I can't just cut them out of my diet. And I can't afford, nor do I have the time for the gym. I'm not disciplined enough to actually work out inside my house. I bought rollerblades, but my ankles hurt so bad after 15 min, that I can't really get a good workout with that! I'm at my wits end, hence why I got the Hydroxy Cut!!! Does anyone have anything that works??? I'd like to lose at least 30lbs before we TTC again in Feb/Mar time frame!

something which might motivate you in your own home, and is relatively inexpensive, is the Biggest Loser workout DVD's. They are seriously SO good. Even when i was in tip top shape I found them challenging but they are designed for all fitness levels and they have lots of options. i HIGHLY reccommend them. oh they have a weight loss 6 week program too i think, so you can have that as another motivator.

As far as eating fruit, try to buy locally grown fruits that are in season as these will taste the best and you'll probably be more likely to eat them.
also you could try tricking yourself by cutting them up small and putting a dolop of light cool whip on top, voila a fruit parfait! hehe it could work!
also, add berries or cut up banana or other fruits to your cereal in the am - probably add 1/2 to 3/4 cup. it'll keep you fuller longer too.
raspberries are a HUGE source of fibre (keeps you full) with very few calories AND they taste soooooo good. they are one of my fave foods.

good luck!

I love the biggest loser idea! Thanks! I saw the cookbooks out there and I'm planning on picking up one on payday, and I'll also check out the videos!!
As for the fruit, I actually cut up bananas, pineapple, apples, and grapes and stuck them in a container, I usually eat at work, and if I grab that in the AM, I'll have to eat it or starve. And today I had apples with peanut butter. I got macintosh and was really disappointed. I guess it's back to red delicious for me
I will definitely try the parfait idea! I really like cool whip, so that would probably work!!! And I've been sneaking in yogurt for an afternoon snack now too. Again from lack of options, cuz that's all I take to work now for snack. It's sad I have to trick myself, but it's sort of working. Until the weekend comes and I overeat again. But I'm trying!
I'll also try the raspberries. I used to love them and blackberries when I was a kid. We used to pick them right off the vine and stuff them in our mouths. Our baskets were alwasy empty by the time we got home....
Thanks again, for the advice, I'll keep you posted!
