Hi! I usually post on the main WTTC board but decided I might as well join you here since i'm trying to drop a few pounds for my wedding in October. I'm 5'9" and have been fluctuating between 142-145 for the past two weeks. Yes, I weigh myself everyday and write it down and one day at work when I was not too busy I even graphed out my weights lol
I don't want to lose too much, maybe 7-10 lbs and lose a couple of inches.

This weekend was rough though. I was sick and couldn't work out, and drank a glass of wine or a beer every night. And last night DF decides to order a large pizza (

My dress just came in and I'm trying it on tomorrow for the first time. I wish I had made more progress on the fitness thing - oh well there're 4 more months )

Hi Sarah,
Congrats on reaching your wedding fitness goal. I don't really have a plan. I'm just trying to avoid what I know to be "bad foods" ie too much bread, pasta, creamy stuff, fried foods etc. I'm pretty good with not eating junk like chips and chocolate. I guess I should come up with a plan. My worst habit is not having breakfast even though I know it's important in order to jump start the metabolism. I'm just so lazy in the mornings. Maybe if I got something easy to eat like protein bars or something I can actually have breakfast. Also, I have a habit of eating late into the evening ie as late as 10 or 11 so I have to cut that out.

I workout 3 times, sometimes 4 or 5 times a week. Typically I'll do 30-40 minutes on the elliptical and if I have anything left in me I'll do some time on the treadmill or another machine whose name I don't know. Then I'll do some ab work and weights for legs, butt, upper body and arms. I sometimes don't get to the gym as often as I like or work out for as long as I like because I also want to have dinner ready before DF gets home.

How about you, what was your plan like?

That should be enough time to lose 7 - 10 lbs. Its touch when you're already in a normal range to lose weight than if you're overweight or obese. Some people might beg to differ, but I know first hand.

I bought some special K bars to eat in the mornings whenever I dont have my daily double oat bagel. I too have a habit of eating late at night or eating and then going to sleep ( I know, shame on me). I've already started my weight loss journey and I still have A LOT of disciplining to do.
