I decided about a month and a half ago that I want to get back into shape...I get so depressed when I look at my pictures from 4-5 years ago and I was so skinny (118 lbs and before that i was like 105!!!) and I want that again (not the 105...the 118-120!! I used to have a body that everyone always said they wanted, and now...well lets just say no one has said that to me for at least 3 years! So anywhoo...im starting this journal a little late, as ive already been working out pretty instensly (intense for me at least, going from doing NOTHING to working out 3-4 times a week at the gym for at least an hour each time weight training and cardio). So ive already lost 3lbs but im kind of stuck, and ive been stuck there for like 2.5 weeks. So i decided a journal would be a great idea, since I can track my food and have to look at it "on paper" instead of eating it then forgetting it! I think my diet is the problem im SUCH a picky eater and I LOVE my pasta and carbs. I dont even know how to go about cutting it out, because its pretty much my whole diet!! Anyway ill take some before pictures tonight (OMG im dreading it!) and I wanna get this show on the road!
*******************************************
GOALS:
*Eat less calories per day
*Try to eat breakfast everyday (I think this is one of my biggest problems I *NEVER eat breakfast, so im a lot more hungry by the time lunch comes)
*125 lbs (at least)
*Excercise at least 3 times a week for at least 1 hr
Wish me luck!!!!!

You can do it Ashley! I hated taking my before pics b/c you always look worse in pics then you think you do. And I am right on that pasta/carb addiction train. When I cut most of them out before, it was horrible! But I got used to it after awhile.
You will be one healthy & hot mama!

I'm not sure. All I know is, Kate got mercury overdose from eating tons of tuna and the like. I *think* she said a few times a week is ok, but I am not sure.

I have tuna twice a week. But I make tuna salad with Miracle Whip free, hardboiled egg whites, pickles and onion in it so that it's healthier and lower fat. As long as you're not pregnant tuna is great in moderation!

Breakfast- Nothing (ugh! I was late!)
Lunch- 2 cups of leftover homemade chili (Seriously you all should be SO proud this doesnt sound good for a "diet" but i normally eat fast food every single day for lunch so this is progress...seriously. progress.)
Snack- Pouch of tuna (yum!)
Dinner- Ugh...my carb obsession took over my mind when I realized I had all the ingredients for a nice chicken fettucine alfredo. BOOO! Horrible choice I know!
Workout- N/A
Water- 52oz
