Hi Everyone!
I'm Jordan and I just joined JustMommies. I have a son who just turned 2 in January....TWO and I still have "baby weight" to lose! Anyone else out there still have the "baby" weight, even though your "baby" is now a toddler??? So very frustrating! I want to have another baby like, yesterday! But there is no way I want to get pregnant on top of the weight I havent even lost from the 1st baby! I need to lose 20 lbs to be back to my pre-pregnant weight that I was with my 1st one. Anyone up for the challenge with me?
I'm going to 1st start by drinking NOTHING but water and my occasional skim milk (just for calcium!) Even my husband tells me i "drink" my calories, which is turn. I love sweet tea, coke, dr.pepper, any type of coffee drinks (hot or warm) wine, sugary cocktails, ect! So I want to completely give that up!! Just water, and I can very confident I can to that.
I also am going to take spin classes at my gym. I use to go every tues and thurs, and just stopped! So i'm going to start that up again, plus thats a great workout to do while pregnant! I have had many pregnant ladies in my spin class.
I really don't feel that I eat that bad. But I am going to start watching what I eat and portion control. I honestly believe if I cut back on my beverages and stick to water along with working out I will lose the weight. I have a pretty well balanced diet already, but like I said I can monitor it better.

So guys, this is my plan! My goal is to drop 20 lbs...hopefully within 2-3 months, then I can start planing for baby #2!

Hi!
Our situation is very similiar! My daughter turns two in April and I still have baby weight to lose, plus some!! And I'm new to JustMommies too. Idealy I have 30 pounds to reach my goal, 14 pounds puts me in the high part of my "healthy" range and 9 pounds when I weighed when I got prego with dd. I'm helplessly addicted to sugary drinks but otherwise have a relatively healthy diet, though I'm sure I could eat more veggies. But enough of my endless chatter.
I was wondering if you would like to pair up. I would like someone to "diet and excercise vent" with and visa versa!!

Great goal! I think you can definitely cut out those empty calories you are drinking. However, I do recommend you continue drinking your milk (like you said you would) and 100% fruit juice doesn't hurt As long as it is 100% juice with NO added sugars!

Sounds like a good strategy, after all only hard work and dedication will lead to weight loss, there sadly just aren't any quick fixes!

right there with ya! Although mine is not baby weight seeing how I was 130 when my oldest was a toddler....mine is I moved to England and discovered beer weight then went through a divorce and ate lots of takeout and drank more beer weight I am luckily below my pre-preg weight from our 15 month old now but I still would like to lose another 20 lbs before TTC this fall! I know I will just FEEL better to not have that weight on me since I already tend to gain between 40 and 50 with pregnancy! I got up to 223 with Lainey! GULP. Currently at 169 and would LOVE to see 149 before going off the pill this fall!

I am doing WW and go to meetings and so far so good....have had a few hiccups since starting in January but overall I am down 20 lbs so far so 20 more to go if I stay focused shouldn't be THAT hard.....we shall see

Good luck to you all!
