I say we do a set target by a certain date. I know that I do nightly walks now (hard to actually do much with a NB), but I do allow myself 1 day off a week if I get really busy one day.

Ooh I am totally in! The hubs and I have been going on nightly walks too, and I am maintaining my weight without really dieting or anything, but I would like to lose a good 15 lbs before we start! We should set some mini goals to get started.

I will have to weigh myself and you ladies will have to tell me a realistic target weight - I've never done any sort of weight-loss programme before so I need help!
I'll get DP to take some photos to show you which bits I want to lose weight from then maybe you can advise me on exercises too!
Optional tasks sound good, perhaps we could come up with a task per day for each day of the week and then try to do them as often as possible. Do you have any ideas for tasks Michelle?
