Anyone else have a problem with retaining water?

I must have at least 5lbs of water on me right now, if not more. Seriously, prior to AF I was almost 2" smaller in a few measurements than I am right now.. but I seem to not be losing my water! I pee a lot, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

So I'm going to start drinking green tea. I can shed tonnes of weight with sweet green tea, most of it water. Ideally 24oz should be drank a day (3 cups) but I will start with two (I have a 16oz mug) and then increase to two next week!

i don['t really had this prob but i've heard if you retain water you should drink more water cause your body is holding onto it because it needs more.

I always have problem with water weight because I don't drink enough water. I know your body retains water when it's dehydrated and when you drink more water your body will flush the excess water out. Which is good for me because I am not a big fan of tea
