So, I thought it would be brilliant to keep a log on here so everyone can hold me accountable. This week( 12/31-1/6) I am not following the diet strictly but am transitioning to WW and will start full time on January 7th.

My goal: to reach a size 12(halfway point) by May 1st and lose at least 10 lbs in that time. The full goal is to be in a size 10 by September 1st and have lost 25 lbs by that time. The ultimate(dream) goal is to be in a size 8 and 130 lbs by December 1st 2008!

Inspiration Photo: Me at 129 lbs, highly toned and fit on my wedding day

and on my honeymoon..I look like crap but it's a better photo

lol...my wedding was my goal. When I got engaged I weighed 172 lbs. I wanted to be back at a size ten for my wedding and I exceeded my goal. I think that is the thinnest my body can get and look good. I want to get back to as close to that point as possible....

Good! You SHOULD be proud of yourself, you're doing great! And braking the snacking habit is a tough one!

thanks Shannon. I want to hit 170 for valentine's day so I have to be strict with myself and keep off the snackies. I do snack-but its like 4 hershey kisses, and that's enough. It takes the edge off the chocolate cravings.

Is this all you've eaten in the past two days? 18 and 19 points? I'm asking b/c they always say it's not good to eat under your points (especially if you are exercising and not eaitng your AP points) b/c your body will start to think it's starving, not to mention when you do get to your goal and try to maintain it'll be harder and you'll require less food than you would otherwise. If it's just a fluke or you aren't done for the day (I can never remmeber what time it is for you over there, lol) then sorry... I just wanted to point that out. Otherwise... good for you! looks like you went shopping and finally got some breakfast foods, eh?

lol yeah, I went shopping. I wanted breakfast for dinner.

Yeah, I've really only eaten 18 and 19 points....I eat as much as I am hungry for, adn don't deny myself..I'm drinking a lot of water though and that helps. Also, once I lose a few more pounds I drop down to like 21 points so I am pretty close. I'm trying to go for 20-22 points a day but I figure if I am not hungry, not going to force it. I really haven't been as hungry this week because I am keeping busy. I also know that once I start back to work next week I will be eating more!

I'm pretty much trying to go at this the same way I went at it before..it worked, and I know I can keep going on that path. I can alreadys ee it working because I stopped and thought about what I was buying today, and put things back...I can see portion sizes better too! WOOT!

I hear ya about eating as much as you're hungry for and then having extra points left over... but may pop an extra kiss or two to get your points up? lol. I know you did WW for you wedding and were very successful, so I'm sure you know what you're doing and what works for you body. I just wanted to point it out b/c the leaders frown on that when you aren't eating enough. If it's only a couple point difference and only occasionally though, and the program is still working... then good for you. It's just bad news when it gets to be several points too low, and often, kwim?

Isn't it great when you get back into the healthy mindset of shopping and everything? Ahh, I'm feeling good! When are you gonna weigh yourself?

Not until February 1st, probably. LOL. I'm taking it slow. I may weigh myself on monday, not sure.

Yeah..I know you are supposed to get close to the point total as much as you can but I'm really struggling with that right now. I guess part of it is because I've learned how to make really filling meals on low points, lol. I'll have to start trying to add another dairy element in to get more points or something...we'll see. I had one day that I only had like 14 points, but the next day I bounced back to around 20. Hopefully next week I'll get back up to the normal range for me once life settles bak in.
