that's a great idea Jennifer!

now since we're technically on vacation right now i won't be eating like i do at home, but i'll still keep track anyways.

12/30 - breakfast/lunch: i had a salad and a small bowl of macaroni, and a fat free pudding cup.
- dinner: 2 slices of pizza

today we took a tour of a local landmark (a castle!) so we climbed lots of stairs (i think 8 staircases each way) and there is a pool in this hotel so we went swimming (i did some laps)

Eggs are 2 points (for the yolk! the egg white is zero!) most breads are 1 pt per slice, the pear is around a point and the bacon depends on the size, amount and cut... I think center cut is normally 1 pt per slice.

thanks ladies! i guess then i didn't do too bad for yesterday.

we went out for dinner to the old spaghetti factory and i had tortellini with tomato/basil sauce and mushrooms and tomato chunks on it. and french onion soup. i know not the healthiest, but i only ever eat it when i go there. oh and water to drink.

and for dessert, a vanilla pudding cup. and a sprite zero mixed with a little sour puss to celebrate the new year.

now Jan 1st:

- for breakfast i had a piece of toast again and some coffee (we got up late so i didn't want to eat a lot)
- for lunch, some bow tie pasta with a home made "cream" sauce, made with low fat milk, so it's not as cream filled as store bought. on top of that was chicken and mushrooms. and a salad.

for dinner we're going out i think for chinese... so we'll see how that goes. maybe it will be my splurge for the week.... but i never eat too much when i'm there.

thanks for all your help ladies!

oh and not only did i do some more laps in the pool yesterday morning, but we did a LOT of walking. this whole sightseeing thing is good for my health!

i was really good at the chinese food place. i had green beans, broccoli, baby corn, a couple carrot slices and about 5 pieces of sweet and sour pork. and i had a small iced tea. no fatty noodles, or rice or anything. i'm proud of myself. lol

i'm really bad at chinese places sometimes. but i dunno. i just wasn't craving the noodles or anything like i normally do. and their green beans are slightly garlic flavored, very good.

today we were travelling home from our vacation so i didn't eat as well as i could have...
- i had a piece of toast for breakfast (i woke up feeling SO sick, so that's all i wanted to eat)
- for lunch, i had a veggie burger from triple Os (one of the few food choices available on the ferry)
- and for dinner i had some ribs, scalloped potatoes and carrot sticks.
