At home (where I don't buy the groceries) I eat cereal and milk and try to avoid really sugary ones. In my dorm room, I like 120 "light" yogurts (I like the Tops-- our local chain's yogurt the best over all of the brand names) and an apple or an orange. If I manage to get my butt up and to the dining hall (another goal for myself), I eat their sugar-free yogurt with granola in it and a glass of orange juice.

I think whole wheat toast with a small amount of peanut butter is good-- or an english muffin. I like nutri-grain bars, but they're pretty high in sugar-- but better than a Red Bull or sugar-filled coffee.

I typically have oatmeal or a breakfast bar type thing just b/c it's quick and easy and I'm not usually hungry in the mornings. If you want a "fast food" type meal I've gone one for ya though! This is fun, hehe. Get some egg beaters (yes, they taste good, lol) and if you like get the southwestern kind b/c it has peppers and stuff in it and we like them better. pour about 1/2 cup (i can't remember the serving size right now but I think that's it) into a small round tupperware or something and pop it in the microwave. toast an english muffin (the light kind or 100 cal) and then throw the egg on the muffin (with some FF or 2% (i like 2% better) american cheese slice) on it and you've got a little egg mcmuffin and the egg is even shaped like how mcdonalds would be! (for WW girls, that';d be 3 or 4 points depending on if you used cheese). You can also make really 'healthy' french toast the same way... using egg beaters instead of eggs with light bread and sugar free syrup -- feels 'bad' but it's all good choices.

yogurt cups are always good break fast items... as are light/FF cottage cheese/fruit combos. you just need to be checking calories b/c some are better than others. We get the "light & fit" (dannon i think) yogurt cups... and the WW yogurts when they're on sale. We also occasionally freeze them for a froyo, lol.

I mean, it's best to eat a huge breakfast b/c you have all day to burn it off and it's the engery you need to get moving... but if you are like me and don't care about breakfast, just eat SOMETHING. grab a banana.

Last year I had a banana almost every morning for breakfast, and I felt so healthy, it was perfect for breakfast. We had a child in our class who brought in a bunch of bananas every single day, and only wanted to eat the peals, I think his mom thought we wouldn't mind if he ate them.....yuck, and no we didn't let him eat the peals! So, we had an endless supply of bananas! I'm not a big breakfast person, but I used to force myself to drink coffee and also have either a banana or some dry cereal. I really need to get back into the habit, I eat less the rest of the day that way.

when i was training hard before my wedding my trainer would tell me, make sure you eat carbs with breakfast and lunch, but then don't eat any carbs after lunch (this was drastic - for the wedding).....but it kinda highlights that you do need carbs and the am is probably the best time to have them, like shan said.

i love that egg mcmuffin idea though! i think i'm gunna try that next week for sure, sounds tasty, and it would be more than i normally eat for breakfast.......then i might not crave chips later on!

What I have normally is - Oatmeal, Cereal (high fiber), Frozen Waffle, Fruit, Granola Bar (if I'm in a big hurry or don't know what to have), Yogurt. On the weekends I have started trying to have an egg or two.
