Okay I'll explain the options in case they don't make sense. When we do our updated blinkies in two weeks from now... how should we go about gathering the #?

Should we take our 28.4 blinkie and add however much we lose in the next 2 weeks to it?

orrrr

Should we just keep track of how much we've lost since 01/01/08 and when we make the new blinkie post our total weight loss since then and then add that?

I'm asking b/c if we lose a member and they quit posting (YOU BETTER NOT!) and we add the previous blinkie plus additional then it won't be accurate.

but also

if we take it from January 1 and someone joins in March or something and they aren't sure how much they've lost since then... it won't be as accurate either.

I still think we should do it from our starting point of when we started losing TOGETHER, meaning, however much we've lost since 01/01/08 and if any new members participate then they can count theirs from whatever date they started and add on from then.

Hope this wasn't too confusing, just trying to get an idea... SO if we do do it from January 1st -- everyone remember how much they weighed then please!

OK OK, you frightened me into staying.

As confusing as that post was, I'm gonna go with this:
