he was drunk but still - i got out of bed and out of my jammies to cab it downtown to pick him and our car up at 12am, and he rewards me by saying this........

UGH why do men not GET IT?!!
so i feel lousy and fat now and i'm going to try to eat less since i apparently can't fit in enough exercise......so much for increasing my cardio...ugh winter SUCKS at least in the summer i could run outside but its too dangerous with snow.

He doesnt get that its not nice i dont think. Like he says it playfully - i dont respond back playfully when he does it so i don't understand how he has learned to keep doing it......he had layed off the comments for a while there and was even giving me compliments.

we get along great! i'm starting to think maybe his comments stem from his own insecurities about gaining a few lbs.......
which he has......i definately have too but i still consider myself healthy, especially for it being the middle of winter in Canada!

I told him if he doesnt like it, then he can hire me a personal trainer.

He keeps doing stuff like this and that is just SO NOT okay! UGH! Maybe you should try being passive aggressive and making comments about how 'cute' his 'little penis' is. :rolleye: I mean that doesn't sound like a healthy thing to do, as Ben just wouldn't make comments like that to me ever, but maybe that would be what works for you and DH so he can get it through his head that even if he isn't doing it to INTENTIONALLY be hurtful, it still IS, and you've told him this and it HAS TO STOP.

Girl, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be healthy like you! You exercise and eat reasonably and I applaud you for that. Please don't let his petty comments affect your self esteem or cause you to have a eating disorder or something.

yeah i told dh last night not to do it anymore and he got all like "i was just kidding around".......but yeah i said its hard to take that as a joke, as a woman!
