Goals: (especially for Angela)
My Goal is to be able to run a half marathon with DH ( I think it's next year ). Next Goal is a triatholon. Final Goal: Overall healthy and toned, I'm not looking to lose weight here, just gain muscle and definition.
I'll start with Sunday...
Sunday: DH and I went to the gym for 1.5 hours, I did a 5 min. warm up on the bike which was 1 mile. Then I went and did 3 sets of 12 reps on the machine that works your outta thighs (trying to build curves LOL) 3 sets of 12 reps on a machine that works the top of your thigh and back of thigh and butt. Then went to basketball courts and did lunges for about 20 minutes (really feeling those today) Then I did wall sits, trying to work up to sitting for a full minute, did 20 sec. intervals with 2 sec. rests in between. Did crunches...forgot to count, just did them until I couldn't anymore.
Monday: DH and I couldn't go to the gym it was packed, so we walked our entire neighborhood, which equaled 1 mile.
I will try to learn the name of the machines at the gym, lol.

I know, but I always forget them, you'd think I'd know them by heart since my parents used to own a gym when I was younger but I don't haha

Feel better and then go gym, go!
When you do lunges, make sure you are pushing off the ball of your front foot and squeeze as you come up. Feel the burn!

Sunday - me and DH slowly easing back into working out, walked the dog in the neighborhood briskly. It's a start at least. I'll try to do something easy again today and hopefully by tomorrow I'll be well!

not weighing in, I don't have a scale, plus I judge my progress by how my clothes fit.
Monday- no work out, didn't eat enough, low energy towards evening.

Don't push yourself if you don't feel well, no use in wearing yourself down even more! Nice having the salad with dinner, kudos!

Definately take it easy if your not feeling well.
OMG toaster struddels....I don't even walk by them in the store because I'll sit and look at them and think about how good they taste and then I'm reminded that I can't control myself - I'll eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. lol. pathetic i know.
