Now that I'm basically commuting, I find myself being able to stick to good foods and habits at school, but I FALL apart at my moms. Diet Pepsi is abundant so I drink that and don't even consider water. I don't have money to grocery shop so I eat crap when we're out. I am not weighing in these 2 weeks because I feel like I gained all the weight BACK. May be true, or not true, but I'm not weighing in.

In my little dorm closet, all by myself, I might be lonely, but I stick to a diet. Get me around people, and it's all over.

I can almost feel the double chin I've aquired in the past week, and I KNOW thats not possible, but I need some suggestions for being at home. Once we move to the trailer for the summer--- right after I leave the dorms, I always lose weight, so it's just like 10 weeks where this is a problem, and once I move from camp, I'll be in my own place, but even sleeping is not scheduled correctly here. I sleep when I want as long as I want, where at school, I sleep six hours at night and an hour and a half nap.

When my schedule is messed up is also when my anxiety and depression kick it.. I can tell the anxiety in this post.. I'm still down on myself and until I feel up, I don't think I'll get back on schedule!

Help me out, wonderful ladies, please!

hunny i have seen you do the no pop thing WITH EASE!! I know u can do it at your moms, just get a big glass of water and keep refilling it, even if your not thirsty just fill it up so that when you are thirstly you don't even have to think about it. hey you could do like shannon and picture ur kidneys cringing everytime you drink pop and see them dancing joyfully in the rain when u drink water LOL!!!

i admit i love a good hearty meal at my moms or dh's familys houses when we go, and i dont hold back but we are never there for that long.

Can you "hide" the diet pepsi in the fridge so its not the first thing you see when you open it? Put a pitcher of water in the fridge maybe everyone will start picking that over the pepsi (well a couple times at least LOL). Also I know how wonderful home cook meals are..just try scoping half what you are now on your plate and finishing it, then only add a one more thing at a time for seconds on that dish. It takes your body 20 min to figure out if it full so go slow. I have one friend who chews each bite like 10 times then swallows she swears by this, I think its odd but hey to each their own LOL
And I think no matter what you did or didn't do you SHOULD weight in....the weight in is one of the major motivators along with support from us fellow weight loss girls, and you just asked me for help to keep you going....so get on that scale, mark down your weight and use that for your motivation for the next 15 days. Its the accountability factor, since you have to tell us it makes you more accountable for knowing what your doing....big weight watchers thing. So i am going to be the mean lady at the weight watchers meeting who says....."everyone needs to weight in". And if you cheat at the weight in you giving your brain the ok to cheat sometimes, we are all trying to beat that part of the brain, so by cheating your feeding that part of your brain-and that part needs to be starved LOL
Hope you still like me FYI-I put back on all the weight I lost last weight in, not all of us are doing perfect either.

My mom doesn't have a scale. I'll weigh in tomorrow night. I think I weigh more now than before the whole weight loss thing.. I doubt that's true though.

Maybe you should make a deal with yourself to just be really really conscious with yourself when you're at your mom's. I know you have less control there of what is in the fridge/house, etc. and that makes it a LOT harder. but it's easy to just give in and say, eh, well i'm gonna be bad here, and if i'm gonna be bad... i'm gonna be VERY bad and enjoy it! How about before anything goes in your mouth you just THINK about it. Stop for a second and say, 'hmmm, how can I make this healthier?" what can I do to make sure that a week from now this decision was WORTH it. Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels, lol. Like when you fix your plate of dinner, try to take less, you may be surprised when you're finished that it you're satisfied but not stuffed. Take twice as many veggies and half as much meat/starch. Then when you do eat, ENJOY it. Don't beat yourself up.. close your eyes, eat slowly and focus on the taste and textures of everything that you eat. So often we mindlessly eat in front of the tv or computer, in the car, standing up on the go... and it's like our mind doesn't realize, hey, this is enjoyable... good stuff. Or your mind doesn't hear your stomach saying, THAT'S ENOUGH! So just really focus on what you're eating so that your body is aware of what's happening 100%.

I think we've all lost steam since January. We CAN do this, and I don't want to be @ this weight 6 months from now being like @$%@ I have a wedding coming up! So let's DO IT NOW! I need the motivation just as much as you do, but we ARE capable of losing weight, it's just making all the little choices that add up!

At school, and mostly at home, I ALWAYS sit in front of the screen to eat. I don't see that changing since my desk is my only flat space. I will work on it tomorrow. Also, next weekend I have to come home because it is my niece's 9th birthday and my girl's from my bridal party makeover/bonding day, but I will post 1000 times to keep on track.

I've realized that in addition to some of my anorexic traits that I've never lost, being around people tempts me to eat. So, when I lock myself in my dorm room, I do really well-- the environment is 100% controlled..

This is hard, but I do want to weigh less for my sister's wedding and continue to stay out of the 200 club for my own health. Thank you girls so much for helping me make changes in my life. I know right now I'm taking a lot of support and not giving as much, but when I'm on track, I promise to be more supportive.

Ok, here's what you do. Draw a big "W" on your hand and when you reach for the Pepsi you will feel guilty and drink water instead. Just trying to lighten the mood

Most of the time when I reach for something I shouldn't eat or drink, it's because I'm bored or not even really thinking about it. Do you have a wattle bottle? If you do, keep it around you ALL the time. And if you want something sweet, slip alittle Crystal Light in there.

And always try to keep healthy snack in your purse! I keep mixed nuts or a special K bar.

Allow yourself to have a diet pepsi...one. Then make a conscious effort to drink water the rest of the time..heck, wash out the DP can and fill it with water if that will help any Everyone has given you some great ideas. Definitely DONT beat yourself up. Use a smaller plate when you eat at your moms (instead of a dinner plate, use a bread plate/salad plate) and don't feel guilty about cleaning your plate! Eat the veggies first, they'll fill you up faster

You can do this!

It's ok - you can do this!!!!!!

Set "NO FOOD/DRINKS" in certain areas (living room, computer desk, car, etc.) unless of course it's water - then drink till you float. Just have 1 pop and that's it. If you can drink that in abundance - you should be able to replace it with water.

I always love a good cold glass of water when it's hot however I find that if I fill up my container and let it sit on the counter(holds 64oz) at room temperature I tend to drink it faster. Just constantly drink it - even if your not thirsty!

And thanks for the comment on my blog - and with that said - I KNOW you saw those pics of me - DONT LET YOURSELF GO THERE!!!!! It's not a happy feeling being in the 200 club!

Oh yeah - find a scale - and weigh yourself. Own up to it!!! 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks and then pretty soon you feel absolutely out of control hopeless. Weight yourself, own up to your mistakes, and move on to making improvements!
