I joined weight watchers online last night and I am ready to be serious about losing some weight!!

Starting weight on 3-14-08 132lbs.... Goal weight 115lbs!!

Friday 3-14-08

Breakfast- 1 hashbrown - 3 points
bottle of water

Lunch turkey sandwich on wheat bread - 5 points
bottle of water

Monday, 3-17-08

Breakfast- grapes 2 points

Lunch- smart ones chicken parmesan meal 5 points

Dinner- Minestrone soup (WW recipe)
salad w/ fat free dressing
breadsticks
8 points all together for dinner

I still have a few points so I might have a snack later!!


Exercise- walked for 1 hour at the park

Girl you need to eat all of your points. There is no arguing this one, if you don't eat ALL of them (or consistently eat under) then you will gain b/c your body will think it's starving... that'll also slow down your metabolism which isn't any good. Did you like the chicken parm? That used to be one of my favorites but I burnt out on it, lol. Also, when you exercise you earn Activity Points, and you're supposed to eat those too... so I'd at least get in 5 more points today.

Way to go though! I'm gonna LOVE stalking you! hehehe

I am trying my hardest to eat all my points!!!! I didn't think it would be that hard to really eat all of them!!! I'm glad I have you to stalk me!!!! hehe!!

The chicken parm was good.. A little bland, it could have used a little more flavor, but overall it was good!!

what Shannon said, eat all of your points! The last thing you want to worry about is gaining weight b/c your body thinks it is starving. We're here to cheer you on as you get closer to that 115!

Well another thing about not eating all of your points... you may do good in the beginning but then when your body hits that plateau, there's no where to go really... nothing to cut out. Also, once you get back to your goal weight you will increase your daily points so that you don't keep losing but maintain... and if you've been eating not enough points, you won't get to eat as many when you've made lifetime, kwim? So, moral of the story is... get to eatin'!

Isn't it crazy though the way you're taking in less calories but it sometimes feels like you're eating more!? Keep in mind WW still promotes 3-5 fruits/veggies, enough water, enough this & that for a truly balanced diet... and part of that includes oil. I always HATE that. They want you to get 2 servings of oil in a day and thats high in points. You can have it while cooking veggies or over salad or a sub or whatever... but it's great for your hair & nails so if you have extra points, sometimes just take a 'shot' of oil... gross, I know... but good for you!

(or you could always do it the fun way and indulge in a candy bar, haha)

thanks for all the tips Shannon.. I am slowly learning all the ends and outs!!!
Today I got in all my points and went over by 2..

Tuesday, 3-18-08

Breakfast: WW blueberry muffin - 3 points

Lunch: Turkey Sandwich - 5 points

Dinner: pork lion, okra and tomatos, slice of fresh bread with honey butter - 10 points

Snack: orange - 1 point
Starbucks caramel frap LIGHT - 3 points

I've been drinking nothing but water all day too so go me!!!

Dinner: Eggplant Rollatini, salad with fat free ranch dressing - 7 points

Snack: Half a hershey's with almonds bar -5 points

Exercise: walked 1 hour at the park!!

Again water all day no coke!!!

AP= Activity points!!!!

I can have 20 points in a day and then I have the 35 extra points for the week and I earn activity points when I exercise!!!

Lunch: Lean cuisine three cheese ravioli - 5 points

Dinner: Pork chop and mixed veggies - 4 points

Snack: bag of m&m's (darn Easter Candy) - 5 points


I drank water throughout the day!!
