Here's the memorial tattoo I got for my son Roman in November. It is on my sternum (chest) above my breasts. They are Roman's actual hand print and foot print size. His little pinky was bent over and I told the artist to leave it that way. So, no, he didn't have 6 fingers
The top reads Cubitus Mei Filius, which means "Rest, My Son" in Latin. The Latin wording goes with my memorial tattoo for my brother. It's a celtic knot with the word Sacrificium above it meaning "Sacrifice.

I just got this Tattoo for my girls on January 11.

It's on the back of my left shoulder and DH got one on the back of his right shoulder. The footprints are the actual size of what the girls feet were.

Thanks for looking!

I never post here but had to sign up just to post my reply in this thread. I went though two miscarriages - both within the span of 5 months. The journey almost made me suicidal and it was completely devastating and heart-wrenching to go through. However, 3 months since loss #2 I am starting to feel more like myself and while I am nowhere near ready to try again - I know that sometimes there is a bigger picture that we just can't see.

I decided to have a memorial tattoo done but it took me ages to finally find something I loved. I am posting this as there aren't many miscarriage memorial tattoos on the net and I wish I had found this thread a month ago!

So here is my loss tattoo.. I just had it done 4 hours ago so it's still swollen and red but I absolutely love it. Everyone's tattoo's are so amazing and I'm glad I could share mine as well.

All the best to all of you ladies

I dont have a tattoo yet, but I plan on going soon to have one done. Mine is going to be a heart made of strings, with a Daffodil on the side. I plan on putting J 29:11 on the inside. A woman on another board asked me to look it up, and it ment the world to me. I plan on drawing it tonight, and having it done within the next week or so.

Oh, and the Daffodil is because Kaleb gave me a boquet of them for Mothers Day, the same day I lost this little one. The heart, well thats explainatory.

I also have another planned, totally O/T but not at the same time. My dogs were my life at one point, before children. My neighbor poisoned my Rottie, Mason 3 years ago (Actually on May 10th 2006, 3 years before this loss to the date) and I always wanted a Celtic Cross on my shoulder for him, and the one that was on his collar is a Mothers Celtic cross, soo its perfect. Beautiful tattoos everyone.

THis is mine, I got it about a month ago. It is a Celtic Motherhood Knot. THe hearts are in my husbands and my birthstone and each dot represents one of my children. The bottom dot is for Colm.

I'm not the tattoo type, but I wanted to comment on just how beautiful and heart-wrenching I found all of your memorials! My DH and I lost our first and only pregnancy last year and are TTC since. The love of a mother, even to a lost child, is certainly the most beautiful thing in the world. This brought tears to my eyes.

I can't believe I never added my angel tattoo here. I thought I shared it everywhere . Some of the pictures are gone of others. Perhaps ladies will come back and share .

Here is mine for my son. I have another one planned on my foot for all my angels.
This one I got done on his first angelversary. I called off work and went to my tattoo shop and drew up what I wanted and the rest is history

This is a sketch I drew. I designed it myself... my take on a celtic heart knot. My husband has it on the upper inside of his right arm, with the name of the baby we lost in the gap between the bottom heart and the top part. Her name is Hope.

This was for my first miscarriage in Oct of 2011 at 7 weeks. We named the baby Phoenix. (And I have wanted a phoenix tattoo for several years and felt it all kind of worked together. I got this January of 2012
