10 to 15 peeled and chunked / diced potatoes
1 - 8 ounce bag of shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 to 1 cup of Ranch dressing (I prefer Hidden Valley Ranch)
1 or 2 package of real bacon bits
1/2 stick of butter
Melt butter in microwave. Mix the potatoes, shredded cheese, ranch dressing and bacon bits together in a large bowel. Mix until well coated. Place the mixture into a 13 x 9 casserole pan. Pour the melted butter over the pototes. Cook at 400 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes or until crunchy.
