1 tbs. butter
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
4 tbs. olive oil
3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1 large head broccoli, cut into florets, stems peeled
1/4 cup chicken broth
3/4 tsp. salt, or to taste
In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in chopped walnuts. Continue stirring and cook for 2 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil for 30 seconds. Add garlic and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds. Add broccoli and cook for 3 minutes.
Add broth to the skillet, cover, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, until broccoli is tender but still crisp. Sprinkle with salt. Toss broccoli with walnuts.
