This is to die for!! My favorite bleu cheese dressing without a doubt!
Creamy bleu cheese dressing
1 c buttermilk
4 oz crumbled bleu cheese
2 c mayonnaise
1/2 t garlic powder
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t dried ground celery (can be found at health food/organic stores)
Mix a bit of the buttermilk with the cheese until the cheese has softened. Stir in remaining ingredients. Keep refrigerated. Stir before using.
I vary the consistency of the bleu cheese when I soften it with the buttermilk - dh and like smooth bleu cheese dressing (so I mush up the cheese) but I've made it chunky for other people who love the chunks. Depends on who it's for!
