3 pkgs. (3 ozs.) strawberry jello
3 cups boiling water
1 16 oz pkg frozen strawberries
1 20 oz can crushed pineapple
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese softened
1 cup sour cream
1/4 c sugar
in a large bowl dissolve jello in water, add strawberries and undrained pineapple. Save half this mixture at room temp. and pour other half in 13 x 9 pan. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with sour cream and sugar. Spread over chilled layer. Gently spoon reserved jello on top and refrigerate.
This recipe is really good and I usually take to holiday parties because everyone loves it.
