7 Layer Jello
Ingredients: 7 Jello flavors the single serving box. (I buy 2 reds, one orange, one yellow, one green, one blue, and one purple.)
3 cans of Evaporated Milk (cold)
(Cost= Under $7.00)
It's very time consuming, but if you've got a day prior to the event, it's awesome.
Start with the bottom layer, decide if you want it "creamy" or not. I do the bottom in 'grape' and make it creamy...
To make layers creamy - Instead of using the 1 cup of COLD water I use 1 cup cold Evap. Milk.
Make Jello the same was as you would on the box, 1 cup boiling water, and instead of using the COLD water, I use chopped ice cubes, it helps the cooling down process faster. So, it's ONE cup boiling water and ONE cup ice cubes. (every other layer, doing one cup boiling and one cup evap. milk)
Every hour, do a new layer. DO NOT wait much more than an hour, since the layers tend not to stick well.
It's easy as 1-2-3!!
