Yesterday I got the boys room together, Dane had a hard night. At first we had a hard time getting him to bed, we had to pause Grey's at like 1030 so I could put him in the car to drive him to sleep! Thats the first ever I had to do that. We got him to sleep and he woke up a few times. I think we'll have a few more nights like this and then he'll be used to Gage in the room. They both wake up at the same time so thats not a problem.
Then today I got the playroom together. Not everything is in it yet. We have a bucket shelf to build that my MIL got Gage last Christmas. Whoops.. and there are toys I'm still sorting. I'm trying to keep Gage's small stuff out of there and out of Dane's reach. I also still have to get Gage’s name onto the wall along with his pictures.
Anyways, pictures!

I may be tough for the boys to get used to being in the same room, but having a playroom is the best!!!! We made our extra bedroom into a playroom for Payton a couple years ago & it's the best thing we've ever done. I was so sick of having giant toys in my living room (like a Dora kitchen, that's the toy that did it for me...when that toy was in the living room, I decided it all had to go in the extra bedroom).
Kristen, Dane stayed in the same room. He was just all excited to see Gage in there haha. We believe he's teething so we've been having a hard few nights the past few weeks.

Where in the world did you get that Toy Story couch?! We have a Spongebob one that was Landans & he LOVED it. He also loved Toy Story so I'd love to get that couch for Layne!

My 3yr old son Landan died 23hrs after being diagnosed with Meningococcal Meningitis. It is a potentially vaccine preventable disease. The vaccine isn't on the schedule until 11-12yrs but is approved for use at age 2yrs. Our second son received the vaccine in December 2010 when he was 2yrs old. My son & thousands of other children prove that a vaccine is needed at a younger age.
