Inlaws

Do you have a good relationship with your inlaws? Do you see them often?

I love my ILs, but being that we live in different provinces, we dont see each other much. maybe 3 times a yr, if that... usually November and May we go there, and sometimes Feb or August if they come over here.

I dont really know mine. Thats kinda sad to me. Kyle and I have been together 9 years this year and I barely know them. We havent seen my MIL in a year maybe longer and my FIL its been 3 years because Katelynn was a newborn the last time we saw him. Yikes that sounds awful.

I adore my IL's and wish we all lived closer. I only see my MIL 1-2 times a year and my SIL's 1-2 times

My fil is nice. I don't get to see him often since he lives in England.

Ummm... they are alright. MIL is kinda fake. Yes, we see them pretty often.

I love my in-laws. We see them about once a week or once every 2 weeks...so quite often

I wish. Patrick's father passed away before we were married and that was the only parent that Patrick kept in touch with. His mother is not in his life and for good reason. Anout a year ago his stepdad died and Patrick took Stella to the memorial. It was the frist time that Stella had ever met his mom. He has mentioned a few times since then that he would like Stella to know his mom and that she has changed a lot, but he never acts on it. I hate that Stella and Duncan are being robbed of a grandma, but I understand why Dh is reluctant about it.

I love my MIL. We see her at least once a week. FIL lives about 2 1/2 hours away so we only see him once in awhile when he comes down for holidays/birthdays. I have a great relationship with my SIL's also.

Phillip's mom died when I was pregnant with Jessica so she never saw any of our kids. His dad died Oct 2010. He was in a nursing home in LA so we didn't see him very often. The time I spent with both of them was fine. I think we would have gotten along just fine. His mom may been a little challenge since she had a strong personality but she seemed to like me. After she died, some people told me that she was glad Phillip and I were together and that meant a lot to me.
