I decided to make meatloaf for dinner Sunday night, I have never made it for Jon before so I decided to expand on Grandma's basic recipe, which is:

2lbs lean hamburger
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 eggs
1/2 onion
1sp garlic powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/2 8oz can tomato sauce

mix all together lightly shape into loaf, top with other half of sauce and bake 375 for 1hr

Well here is what I did instead:

1lb lean hamburger
1lb ground turkey
1 cup crushed parmasean garlic cheezits
1/4 cup crushed hot and spicy cheezits
1 tsp italian seasoning (crushed in palm)
2 eggs
1/2 tsp pepper
no salt since the crackers and sauce have plenty
1/2c spagetti sauce

mix together lightly, shape into loaf and top with 1/2c sauce bake 375 1hr

It came out alot better, more taste and better texture in my opionion. It also made great sandwiches yesterday.
