This is one of DH's favorites from when he was a little kid so I just recently started making it.

CHEESEBURGER PIE!

1 pound lean ground beef
1 large onion, chipped (1 cup)
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (4oz)
˝ cup bisquick
1 cup milk
2 eggs
a couple tomatoes, sliced

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
  2. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in salt. Spread in pie plate.
  3. In small bowl, stir remaining ingredients with fork or wire whisk until blended. Pour into pie plate.
  4. Bake about 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
5. Top with cheese and sliced tomatoes, bake until cheese is melted.

*in my photo, I only put tomatoes on half since I don't like them... but I tried a bite with tomatoes and the flavor was actually pretty good!

This sounds SOOOO delicious! Totally stealing your recipe and using it for SO's dinner tonight. =P He loves anything with hamburger in it, so he ought to be happy.
