1 box Kraft Mac & Cheese (regular or white cheddar), prepared
1 lb hamburger
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
2 tbsp chopped onion OR 1 envelope onion soup mix
1/2 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown hamburger and onion; drain. Add cream of mushroom soup and milk and stir to combine. In a 9"x9" casserole dish, layer half the mac & cheese and half the hamburger. Repeat, then bake for 25 minutes.
This is super easy to prepare, and takes very little on hang to make, which means it's an awesome go to meal for evenings when you aren't really prepared for dinner. We prefer it with white cheddar mac & cheese but it's good with the regular kind as well. We also prefer the extra added taste of the onion soup mix; when I make it with onion, I'll usually add some onion and garlic powder to spice it up. Using Healthy Request/98% fat free soup, 1% or skim milk, and lean ground beef to makes it a healthy option too! We've mixed in peas or other green veggies, or just serve with a salad.
