*this is actually a Weight Watchers recipe, but I can't remember the points...

Smothered Chicken & Peirogie Casserole

1 pkg (12ct) Mrs T's potato & cheese peirogies
1 can low-fat cream of chicken soup
1 Cup frozen peas
2 Cups cooked chicken (cubed or shredded)

Preheat oven to 350*
Spray casserole dish w/ nonstick cooking spray.
Thaw peirogies by placing in boiling water for 5mins.
Mix soup, peas, and chicken in saucepan and heat on med-high until heated thru (about 5-10mins). Place thawed pierogies in the casserole dish. Pour soup mixture over pierogies. Bake in oven 15mins or until bubbly

It's really good! The crm of chicken soup makes a nice sauce for the peas & peirogies. I also like to make it with 99% fat free crm of mushroom or even broccoli for a nice change

I'm going to have to try that one. Pieoges are a staple in the house, but they get boring with salt butter and pepper, which is how dh prefers them. Thanks for giving me a way to break the routine a little!!
