Italian Pizza Bake:
1 Box Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup parm
1lb. Mild Ital. Sau = Browned and Drained
2 tablespoons garlic
1 jar spag. sauce
1 teas. oregano, salt and pepper
1 cup mozz. cheese
Combine first 4 ingred in a bowl, then pour that into a GREASED 9x13 pan.
Sautee onion and garlic, while you simmer sauce in another pot.
Sprinkle half of the browned and drained sausage over the unbaked cornbread mixture.
Combine onion, garlic, sauce and pour all of it on sausage.
Sprinkle remaining sausage.
Bake for 15 on 375.
Remove from oven, sprinking cup of mozz over top.
Bake for an additional 10 mins at 375.
I just made a double batch and am going to freeze half for when I am off maternity leave.
