My dipes smell. I have stripped them with dawn, I have stripped them with oxy clean, I have washed and rewashed them, I tried adding bleach to the wash I have added more hot water and still they smell. They smell when they come out of the drier when he pees and when i take them off. What else can I do?

Hmm, well, I really have no idea. I've always found the microfiber in BGs to stink the most out of anything I've owned and vinegar always fixed it. You could try handwashing them with bottled water, or boiling them with bottled water. A little more on the pricey side, but if it fixes 'em....

I've never tried it, but a lot of people swear by RLR.

Or you could try Tea tree oil. It will at least kill any bacteria that might be causing the stink.

Do you use a water softner? You could try switching to a different detergent that has Calgon or Borax in it. I think Allens does well with hard water.

I'd try vinegar too. I heard that soap nuts are great, I'm going to try those. Oh and I found bac out at whole foods if you have one near you.

I tried soap nuts for a while and I don't think they got anything clean enough. My regular clothes still smelled dirty (especially in the arm pits of Shane's t-shirts!) after washing. We had an HE w/d when I tried them though, and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

I've heard that crunchy clean is good for hard water. You could give it a try.
