Will you be introducing the idea of Santa Claus to your Child this Holiday season? Will you take them to get a picture with Santa? What about your older children (if you have any)?

Yes, we are big on Santa here. We go see him every year (though for the last two years Emma has been to scared to sit on his lap.) and the girls get most of their presents "from Santa." This year I'm putting a lot of unwrapped presents in a big santa bag so it looks like Santa left his bag. lol I think Emma will get a kick out of that.

Of course we are! Santa is a huge deal here in this family too... I'm going to steal that idea too Kayttie in the future once he understands who santa is!

Emma got her picture with Santa last year and I plan to do it again this year if she's not too scared.

I didn't get a chance to get Kadin's picture with Santa last year because of the snow & him being sick. But this year I will take him. I think that he will be ok because his sister will sit on his lap, and he will stay with anyone if his sister is there.

Yes! We love Santa! My parents even still write "From Santa' on most of mine and my brother's gifts! lol Delaney sat on his lap last year and slept thru it...so im hoping she isnt too freaked out about him this year!
One year for my little brother my parents took my dads boots and sprinkled baking powder around it to leave boot prints going back towards the fireplace...it was awesome!

I found out the truth about Santa when I was young, so I'm reliving it through my kids I won't do much for Anna yet, since she doesn't really understand. I will with Abby though and hopefully I can get Anna to sit on his lap if Abby is too.

Collin won't understand the concept this year, but I'll definitely be getting his picture taken with santa!

That is awesome Lindsey! Now I have to tell my best santa memory.... this one time my dad, he somehow rigged jingle bells outside our window and he had them so the a string was going to their bedroom through their window, and while me and my sis were eagerly trying to fall asleep we kept hearing "santa's sleigh bells", and we were SO EXCITED! Ahhh, to be a kid again! I love the magic of christmas!

That is so cool! I agree, there is nothing quite like being a kid at Christmas and believing in Santa Clause. It just isn't as magical now as an adult, even though I still love Christmas and I know there is so much more to it than Santa.
When I was a kid I would leave cookies for Santa and an apple for Rudolph. My dad used to write notes as Santa and my mom always put unwrapped gifts by the tree that were "from Santa". One year on Christmas Eve I woke up in the middle of the night and heard footsteps down the hallway. I quick shut my eyes because I swore it was Santa checking to make sure I was sleeping!!
I'm pretty sure it was just my mom or dad coming back from the bathroom!
Anyways yes we will be introducing the idea of Santa to Ava. It will be so much fun to see Christmas through her innocent, believing eyes one day

My mom did something like this once... only it was baby powder, Easter and bunny prints! It was the coolest thing!
